more variety *help me!*

well, i was looking at my Jpop collection, and i noticed that alli have is Ayu,BoA,Do As Infinity, and Namie Amuro. i really need a bigger variety of music and artists. so i got on yesasia last night, and started browsing thru all of my possible choices...i got an album from a bunch of different artists. but theres 20 dollars that i have left, and i need help deciding on another album. im trying to cover different styles. here's what i have so far...

1.GLOBE - GLOBE Decade Singles History 1994-2004 3 discs
2.hitomi - NEW ALBUM CD+DVD Limited Edition
3.Sifow - NEW ALBUM CD+DVD First press edition
4.Nanase Aikawa - ID2
5.Utada Hikaru - Singles Collection
6. ???

can someone help me decide what to get for the sixth item in the list? theres so much to get, but just so little money. is there anything yu would recommend me getting? (thats 20 dollars or under)

Oooh. I'd go with the globe Decade Box I bought that during the final weeks I was in Japan..it's definitely a great collection of globe's best hits. globe is also pretty different from Ayu/BoA*/DAI/Namie.

^You have GREAT taste, I'd just like to say. globe, hitomi, Nanase...plus the artists you already like. Yay!

Well, based on what I can gather about the type of music you like, there's Rina Aiuchi, (all of her albums are great, although her fourth one is more rock oriented than dance-pop) Ami Suzuki, (I highly recommend her, esp. her AROUND THE WORLD album. I listen to it everyday!) and I think that you may like Hitomi Shimatani as well. (Try her latest album, Heart&Symphony).

how about Nami Tamaki? if your budget is $20, get the oversea version of her old album. Most people prefer her first album, greetings.

or 東方神起. they are from SM group too. Yes, BoA is their seniors. Their music is good. I recommend you to get this japanese album, Heart Mind And Soul CD + DVD Edition of them. You WILL Like it.

here's 2 of their songs for you to sample. i had 'Oh holy night', a duet they sing with BoA, if you want it, let me know!
HUG(korean)
the Way U Are(korean)

EDIT: i'm too free today, so i went ahead and load 3 more other songs of 東方神起, if you like them, go to the download section, it's there, including that duet with BoA.

Aiko Kayo!Aiko Kayo!Aiko Kayo! Her first album is basically a best-of: it's got all 9 of her a-sides, a b-side and two new tracks. She's cutesy like H!P (she auditioned for 5th gen~) and makes wonderful music. It's more than 20 bucks, though... =x

Mika Nakashima's greatest hits album, BEST. Yes, that's all you need. She is really frickin awesome. I recommend Mika because she's a popular artiste like Utada and Ayumi, hence easy to like. 4 out of her 5 albums sold over a million, she's very pretty, she's a Kanebo model, and her songs are addictive jazz-tinged pop music.

Furthermore, she started her career in the new millenium, so she doesn't have any old-sounding songs. Her stuff are modern too. I'm uploading her music for you. She is so good, you won't need another artist ever. But of course, it depends on your taste and the frequency that you listen to her...

Here's her song called "Oborodzukiyo ~Inori" which is deemed by many to be her best. A melancholic song with a traditional feel.

Here's "LEGEND", my favourite Mika song, I love it a lot because it sounds so modern, advanced and relaxed.

Here's Yuki no Hana, one of Mika's most famous songs. It's a beautiful winter ballad.

BEST also had her biggest hit, the #1 single Glamorous Sky. The compilation was released last year and it already sold 1,086,000. It's currently the #5 album of 2006 in Oricon, a spot above Ayu's (miss)understood.

All these songs are on BEST. There's a lot more I'd love to upload but it'd take me very long, even a track requires around 7 minutes to upload. Please do try her. Anyone else who are interested, download too.
