I have the Shure e3c and have tried the e5c...they're pretty much the same but only except the bass is abit weaker.....I'm guessing is because the e3 emphasis more on the midrange and bass blends in with the midbass and midrange, so it sounds a little weaker than it really is.
Other than that it is a decent earphone so...if you want to save couple bucks get the e3c... note: still go for "shure" if you're planning to buy one (from your list) bands,artists uses shure earphone when performing live...if that answer your question. Oh and if you ask why go for e3c when there are e2,e4... e2's in-ear part is REALLY uncomfortable and sounds almost identitical to e3...as for e4...it may sound alike to the e3 but still e3's bass is slightly better than e4
