Thoughts on Momentum PV

I liked it. It was very sad watching Ayu cry while singing! It really reminds me of No Way to say!!! A very Wintery Song!!! It was sad at the end. The ending has a strong impact.
I liked the blue candle scene!

momentum is so pretty. I love Ayu's hair and jacket during the outside scenes. She's so beautiful even when she cries. I liked the candle light and snow effects. I don't like her hair in the candle scenes, but everything else is wonderful.

Was momentum filmed at an actual place, is the town/city she's in real?

.....And one again I'm speechless.

And yet, here's what I think:

The entire video is just amazing! Snow, town, Ayu herself... Really wintery, I'd say. Very sad and yet beautiful video and song. She looked gorgeous, as usual. I agree, it was so sad and touching, seeing Ayumi crying... The scene with candles is great too! Her dress and all those big blue candles... WOW.

Astonishing!!!!!

The end was shocking. Ayu has not done a video quite like this in a long time. It has styles from her very first videos. The fire was really cool. It was a really sad video though

Yep. Ending was pretty shocking... Ayumi shattering into snow... But it looked really amazing, after all.

I like it a lot! It holds a lot of meaning to it, which is more than I can say for the JEWEL PV (which just seemed like endless bling bling to me). The contrasts are striking--Ayu all alone in the cold and then she's inside, surrounded by warm candles...it holds a lot of symbolism, I think. Plus, the heartache is made clear through her watching the happy family while crying, and then of course bursting into snow at the end...it was also a nice video to watch from a cinematic perspective; the camera angles and direction are very nice.

I love the ending. For some reason it reminds me of moments PV a little bit. I love the storyline, how the snow only accentuated the loneliness, and the impact the ending seems to make.

It would fit in well with her 2004 PVs.

I found it really odd, but the song's tempo and mood didn't seem to fit in place with the theme of the music video... probably just me.

She looked gorgeous in that jacket standing outside.

Egh, didn't do much for me though... I tend to like her dark themed music videos more (about you, ourselves, because of you, alterna). So yea, I'm excessively drooling, anticipating 1 LOVE.

It was certainly a very lovely video, albeit confusing. I can't quite figure out what the old man is doing...but I do like the effects of all the blue candles going out at once and Ayu turning into snow. But like others have said, at first the tempo seemed odd against the pacing of the PV. However, I quickly adjusted.

I'm now convinced that all those times where Ayu's singing in the beginning was a ghost XD

Mmm, so confusing. @.@ She seemed more like a rejected hobo that no one wanted to pay attention to instead of a ghost. xD

I was wondering if he was the love Ayu is singing about (My love for you is the last forever to me). Maybe every winter he lays flowers out in her memory?

Wow, I didn't have my hopes up considering Takahide Ishii (sp?) directed this video, but I really like it. The ending is very impactful. The whole thing reminds me of older Ayu stuff, from the song to the PV.

It's interesting how winter (esp. Christmas) is supposed to be a season of togetherness, but is also a season of loneliness for so many people. The whole song and PV accentuate the lonely side of it I think.

This video has made me love the song, this is one of the STRONGEST videos I've seen from her, this practically makes up for Startin', Beautiful Fighters, BORN TO BE...yeah it sure does. This video can be interpreted in so many ways. I guess Ayumi was a ghost in the figure the entire time...and when the candles blew out...yeah...

I like her look in the candle scene, reminds me of Shannon from Danity Kane

I also wanted to do a little interpretation without using the lyrics. I believe that in the video, nobody is caring that she has died (assuming she is a ghost). The candles in that mode is practically the spirit, the spirit of a fire. Now I mean you can interpret this in so many ways such as (she's able to use fire and nobody liked her, or etc.) but with this I believe it was only supposed to symbolize the remaining life of the ghost...and when she finally sees someone who cares for her at the end, she wants to hug them but it seems that the time has ended for her and she must move on. It appears that she has been waiting for someone to love her for a while.

And...my interpretation makes a F+. A for effort right?

Well, she certainly has very nice clothes for a rejected hobo

XD!! That's what I thought at first. "Dude, there's a woman outside singing and crying at us. Close the window and maybe she'll go away."
