lol I feel like an idiot right now. I just figured out why Namie's hair is like that in the CM. I was so focused on her I didn't pay attention to what was going on around her.

Hm...the song is...interesting. I really didn't like it the first time around, but by the second and third time I was sorta in love with it. XD I dunno. It'll be interesting to hear in full, that's for sure. And I hate to make the connection again (BTW, that was me making the picture connection before XD), but it reminds me a bit of Ai Otsuka's 360 song, which I adore like no other.

On a different note though, the CM itself if pure genius. I swear that this is the ONLY commercial with a celebrity that has EVER made me REALLY REALLY want to buy the hair product. If I was in Japan, I would go out and buy it IMMEDIATELY.

Dr. sounds so weird to me and it brought Hide & Seek to my mind at once. But I'm not saying that the song is horrible, I'm quite neutral about the fact now. Before I can say anything about it I have to hear the full version so I'm not saying anything yet.

Yeah, I got that vibe as well from the Marching section. That's the part that's typical of Namie. Feels like it doesn't belong with the much more interesting beginning, which if I must say sounds a lot like something Utada would do. At least the music, b/c it sounds very atmospheric and other worldly. I think that's why so many are going goo goo crazy over it and exclaiming how different it is and how much they've been waiting for something like this from Namie.

On another note, I've read some messages here that causes me to question whether you guys realize that Namie's hair in this Commercial isn't real time. It's not as simple as blowing it back with a huge fan and slowing it down with video capture. Has your hair ever blown like that in the wind?
Even if that was possible, her face isn't contorted as it would be if some huge fan was blowing against her flapping her skin every which way.

So how exactly did they get her hair to flow like that? You say it's not in real time, do you mean that they pre-recorded that part and then added it in somehow?

and I only compare NEW LOOK to Dr. cause w.z me NEW LOOK is too boring n have nothing special in VOCAL, MUSIC ARRANGEMENT, SONG TYPE, BEAT...ETC . HONESTLY that's my mocking way to ask u "How can Dr. being boring when something like NEW LOOK suite that word more?"

It's ok 2 dislike a song, but Dr. sound boring? even my mom has 2 turn her head when the orchestra part comes while I'm watching the CM(My mom hate all Namie's songs)
