[2005] Thoughts on Bold & Delicious PV?

but as we are used to this kind of videos... mmm, at least, is better than angel's song!

And what's with the anti-American sentiment? Sorry not everything is Japanese. Because we all know that everything Japanese is amazing, no matter what- only because it's Japanese.

I don't know if I trust anything said about Ayu on other message boards since most people are haters. Why would this person post this now? Wouldn't he have posted this back in October right after it happened? After all, running into Ayu in NYC is pretty big news for a J-Pop fan...

If any J-Pop fan had actually seen her that day, we would have heard about the concept of this video weeks ago, but we didn't.

The PV totally surprised me, but it's so much fun to watch!
Ayumi looks beautiful, she's standing on the truck like a real diva.
It really makes me smile to see her enjoying herself so much, so this is definitely a PV I'll watch many more times.

True, that makes a lot of sense. Why is he posting that only after he has watched the PV? It's incredible at what point people can turn ridiculous in order to flame someone. This guy should mind his own business LOL

I am disappointed in both the song and pv. I stopped watching the pv halfway as I was getting very annoyed by the dance Ayumi was performing on the car. The song itself sounded nice in the beginning, very catchy and different from her previous songs, but it was repeating and repeating the tunes forever. The worst thing is that is now stuck in my head... >_< Hopefully, the other song is better.

LOL I actually loved to see her dancing, specially in the part she keeps spinning around. I thought it was so cute.
I didn't really like her looks that much though, she looks a bit goofy in those clothes and with that hair, though there are a few angles she indeed looks great.
The song is so addicting and catchy! I don't really mind PECO's voice at all, and I thought the bridge was actually cool. This song will be perfect for an encore in concerts...guess she created the song with that intention (I could be wrong though).

on a rather substantive note..........

the PV is BOLD & delicious, perfectly THAT

BOLD = i think the reason why they show the 'making of/behind-the-scene' is to prove that Ayu is really BOLD enough to dance around on a moving truck in front of the whole NY people. There is no stunts, or computer generated background.

and "DELICIOUS"? im sure no one denies she looks delicious!

i wonder if ayu REALLY gets in trouble with NYPD .... HAHAHA

this PV is very interesting, i mean why ayu decide to have such a PV. im sure everyone in avex rolled their eyes when they 'process' the video... if its some C- stars, its okay, but hey, its AYU!!? I mean its NOT that she can't make super-pretty videos (like dearest) but she clearly has chosen this style of direction, this type of concept...

I think the reason is because Ayu has always been interested in USA. Also since this pv had this sort of American feel to it, I suppose it was to make the song more spiced up.

The cops followed behind because of how slowly they had the truck moving.. It was just so people knew that they were aloud to have the truck going that slow and was probably there as police escort as well..

I'm glad she was having fun, but the words 'Bold & Delicious' could have had much more meaning shown in the PV. Ayu is tremendously pretty, for sure! However, she shouldn't have stood on that truck for the whole PV. It'd be better if she was doing more. Maybe if she was on the truck for the chorus only, or something, I'd have enjoyed it more...

...I'm sure it'll grow on me, though!

When I saw the video for the first time I was like: "Is Ayu going Diva?!"
but I'm not disappointed... Yea, maybe it is not very deepgoing but... Do all Ayu videos always have to be so deepgoing and senseful?
The B&D PV It is quite funny to watch!^^ I think of it like an alternative type of a PV of Ayu... maybe she just wanted to try something new.
Generally I'm never disappointed about the things she does.
