wow really, do you understand what they mean with this card thing?? I can't imagine what's about... That I'll be able to change the cover of my CD? xDDD

well, since I don't know anything about this single, I think I won't say anything about titles, songs that we haven't even heard, covers that doesn't exist, etc...

It's like being upset before someone hits you... you don't know if this person only wants to touch your hair

I think the cards are changeable covers...someone from the previous thread posted an example what it might be. If it ends up being changeable cover cards, that would be great. There bound to be at least one that looks decent. Anyways, I'm really looking forward to this release. Hope we'll get more info soon~

Yeah, that was intentional. Just mocking the fact that a ballad was named "BALLAD", so I named "Sunrise/Sunset/Horizon/Solar Eclipse/Solar Flare/Fireball", "THE SUN SONG."

And I wasn't stating that she DIDN'T WRITE this or that. I genuinely didn't know and was stating the POSSIBILITIES.

Don't think that something you, a hardcore fan knows, should be general knowledge to everyone else. Ayu isn't really promoted as an artistic Artist who writes her songs. She's more known for her dresses and make up and jewelery and all of the other stuff she got done.

that is soo not true. It might be what you think because you are not into her music or into her at all and also because you ain't got a clue of what fans and people that listen to her like.

ayu ain't as a fashion icon as she used to be anymore, namie took that place, but doesn't mean that because of that ayu's sales are going down... that would be just stupid.



EDIT: ayu took control of her image as an artist as well as creating her own lyrics & music back in the days, all about ayu goes together, if you know what I'm trying to say. You can't pick one of her aspects and bring it on top of everything, because at the end, all together IS "Ayumi Hamasaki". Obviously she's leaving that to her team more now, maybe that's what we all fans are missing from her, herself. And all just to make it clear.


Also, its funny and sad how people that comes everyday to this forum and other websites puts down Ayumi as well as other successful artists just to make their own favorites seem better, after all they can't make their own favorite artists better, they can only put others down and try anything to prove they're right.

Promoted - maybe, but She is well known for her lyrics, as the previous post mentions how do you think ASFXX sold 1.5 millions, surely not because she was dressed so well and looking all shiny especially after singles of which the majority flopped...

I'm sorry :\ but yeah, you don't even need to be a hardcore fan to know that Ayu's big on her lyrics. There are so many quotes about her wanting to "write what she thinks", every interview about a new single she does has her talking about the lyrics, every single lists her name under "lyrics:", and both on and off the internet she's praised for her lyrics. Even people who have only heard 1 or 2 songs by her, that I've met, praise her lyrics, not her dresses/make-up/jewelery/image whatsoever. It's not a fact known to only hardcore fans, and yeah, it kind of is general knowledge to most people. But still, I do apologize for making the assumption.

And I wouldn't really jump all over her for the titles. I'm not sure if she's even writing these songs, but if not, odds are she's not titling them either.

Ballads never excite me, and when I come across a ballad with the title of "BALLAD", which I never have before (How original and creative yes? NO), it sends an emasculating shiver so deep down within my being to the extent where I know I'll never be warm again.

it's not hard to ask someone, especially at ayu's level, to translate "evolution" or something. and yeah, i bet she COULD read all of her song titles...thats the strangest thing i've ever heard.

and p.s. - what about american singers using spanish song titles? and moulin rouge? and a while ago, there was a song called ai no corrida, and it was sung and popularized by Quincy Jones, a very important person in the american music industry.

that's a little different.

Usually people use Spanish song titles when it's a certain concept or something (if they dont have a hispanic background, speak spanish, etc), that only exists in that language, and would be weird in other ones, or not the same somehow, since it's really hard to translate to english.

Just pointing that out...I personally prefer the english titles, but I guess it is weird compared to other japanese artists...

actually, CAROLS in Japanese is 祝歌 (iwaiuta) which is even stranger to look at

it's almost never used by Japanese people, but that's technically what it is.
