I'm one of those people who have different colors of the same shoe T_T.
Yeah, even those people who work for brands gets a good deal of free stuff (like my friend's family friend who worked for Ann Taylor gave her a bunch of free stuff). And if I were in Hong Kong, I would totally go on a shopping spree.

wow and I thought I'm the only one...haha...apparently a lot of ppl share my thoughts..even tho we are all ayu fans...nobody is perfect and there are things I don't like:
1) Her magazine poses...c'mon...some of them really look like what you can see in a magazine 10/20 years ago...and some of these poses are really...fake and natural 2) She is pretty..but her make-up is getting more and more heavy...I sometimes miss her pics from days back in Boys and Girls, Love ~destiny~, A Song for XX etc... 3) I agree w/ most of you that she's no longer the age to pretend to be cute....eg her voice and performances in HONEY 4) Her PVs...I'm see more and more repeats...the same theme and style over and over again...ever since memorial address album: formula 1: greyish background + happening in a european looking city which means the building and everyone is white + sad and a little saddistic/scary/dark theme + a little surprise/secret/twist... formula 2: sunny beach/tropics + same group of dancers + ayu in sexy outfit + ocean + happy ayu + PV released in summer 5) more and more rock songs...less and less ballads.... 6) she's using the same dancers (esp the male dancers) over and over again in her PV's...it gets boring.. 7) I don't like peko and princess either....I can stand them better now that I've seen them so many times...and they actally do get better looking and have a better voice...but still...I'd be happy to see them move on to somewhere else 8) Yes no CREA..I miss songs like M and Evolution... 9) And talkin about PV's.....I miss those PVs that's really deep and hit you...like Endless Sorrow I mean...Ayu..you need something new...you see new singers raising around you...you see your popularity declining...you need to do something! On the other hand..I definitely DON'T hate ayu! She's still my fav singer of all times! I wonder if anyone echo my thoughts as well...

And PV repeats, I wish that there could be new style PV, but when an artist have a lot of PVs, style repeats starts to occur. I'm beginning to see formulas in Kuu, Ai, and other artist's PV too. I wish that everyone could have original ideas every time, but sometimes I would be more impress if any artist manage to take a completely generic idea and transform it into something great. Quote:

1. the songs are just same... upbeat: fairyland, blue bird, glitter...
sad: secret, jewel, rock ballad: heartplace, naturally, momentum, marionette 2. why dont she sometime use her own hair colour? i think thats all... but i'm not saying i hate her and dont like her songs. The songs are great but it was just the same.

Yes, the songs are kind the same, but I like that because I love 'HEAVEN' as well as 'Together When...', for instance.
And I adore 'talkin' 2 myself' even more just because of 'GAME'. The beginnings are quite the same. No problem for me, in my opinion Ayu stays faithful to her own standars. That's OK.

I dislike Peco, princess, shuya and Go-mi..... They seem to ruin ayu totally..... But ayu seem to like them alot....

I notice a lot of you guys dislike her dancers and back-up singers. I'll be honest, I only saw the 2007-08 CDL and her 2003-2004 tour dvd and they didn't really bother me but I can see how they could annoy some people after continuous exposure. But I think Ayumi's reason for keeping them in her team is that they are like a family to her. She probably knows them all well and trusts them after all these years. It must make shows a lot smoother since she doesn't even need to tell them things, they can just tell, you know? I believe it's a trust/friendship thing and I can't really criticize that.

I can't understand when People say " OH, she's just recycles her song!!!, lacks innovation...." Well, if u guys say that about ayu, then why didn't you all say that about others too?? Koda Kumi also have alot of ballads which sounded really alike to each other... Look at Namie amuro,her album from So crazy, Queen of hip-hop to play... So many of her R&B tracks sounded real similar from album to album...
For BoA, songs like "Shine we are", "Brand new beat" are of similar style.. Almost lot of BoA's upbeat songs are similar to each other... Ai otsuka, her cutesy type of song Smiley, Happy days etc.... Well, my point to say is It isn't their fault.... All singers have a particular song style which represents them..... U can't say they lack experimentation all that......
