It's still a million times better than ai no fucking uta. God that song is atrocious. The original mix that is. It's like grating to listen to. It was playing the other day in iTunes and halfway through I had to be like "ok, enough of this shit," and turn it off. What's truly amazing is how great the urban kiss version is though. I love that one, and it just leaves me floored how much of a difference an adjustment to a songs arrangement can make!

In my opinion Koi no Tsubomi is awful lol. I love Ai no Uta though.

^The original version of Ai No Uta is fine and it's better than KNT. We all know you like the urban kiss version better, you make sure to point that out every single time Ai No Uta is brought up and man, it's a lot.

If you push away the nostalgia, there are many hyped singles that are not really good (almost everything pre-second session era).

Lmao, sorry; every time I listen to the original I think "well, maybe I'm overreacting" but I still end up having this very visceral experience where I'm just left flabbergasted as to how anyone can stomach that version, let alone be completely enamored by it in Japan. More so it just reaffirms my belief that the arrangment of a piece is everything. I am left mesmerized by that fact, so in that sense, I guess it's a good thing.

On a positive note, I FINALLY became able to enjoy stay with me. For the longest time I felt that the chorus was such a drag and very much of a letdown. Especially in comparison to the sense of grandiosity that Yume no Uta's evokes.

P.S. Did you know the urban kiss version of ai no uta is better than the original? you should check it out sometime. lmao.

I think Kuu is just cheesy as fuck. I love her earlier ballads, but the ones from the last few years have been a snooze for me. Only Walk of My Life comes to mind as decently recently.
