I've listened to the teaser AT LEAST 50 times already...I can't wait 5 more days o_O. But at least they didn't release the teaser a month early, that would have killed me =P BTW I am loving Taeyeon's wig, she looks so funny, and I love the part in the teaser when she flips her hair, and also when she is doing the wrong cheer with the rest...and this is all just 30 seconds I can't wait for 3-4 minutes worth!

In other news...
Yoona will be a part of the new season of Family Outing. Who else think that Sooyoung would've been a better choice? I like Yoona but she's already everywhere and the center of attention. I really think Sooyoung would've been a good choice because she's funnier and more charismatic. I bet they chose Yoona because 2PM's Taecyeon is part of the cast too. lol

Also, Taeyeon will be a co-host in a new variety show! Along with her, 2PM's Wooyoung is also co-hosting. Wooyoung once said that his favorite SNSD member was Taeyeon so this might be interesting haha.

I would have liked to see Hyoyeon on FO, or maybe Taeyeon...Yoona seems a bit more reserved, but who knows, she may end up being a great addition. I think they chose her because of Taecyeon too LOL.

So far, it sounds super addictive! I think that it's gonna be a hit. I'm slightly disappointed that this song doesn't show much vocal range though. And I didn't hear Yoona, Hyoyeon and Sooyoung. XD Let's wait for the full HQ version.

There's something missing in this song and that is some TaeSica adlibing. The song is kinda short and there's also a lack of climax, especially compared to "Gee" with that amazing slow tempo bridge. Oh well, I cannot wait for the whole album.

There'll be a JeTi duet and the song has a bossa nova sound! <3

I agree about the Family Outing thing, I mean, Yoona is cute and all, but she's everywhere ! I think members like Seohyun or Sooyoung deserve more of the spotlight ..

Hmm. I really like Oh! but it does feel a little less exciting than I pictured it, and the verses and chorus don't really fit together for me. But, I think the PV will be a lot of fun. And this is a great intro to their new sound I think.

Looks like we might have another case of plagiarism on our hands: everyone’s been tuning in to SNSD’s recent chart-topping hit track Oh!, and some eagle-eyed (err, bionically-eared) netizens have noticed an uncanny similarity between Oh! and popular American artist Rihanna’s Shut Up and Drive.

Obviously both tracks have different lyrics & different instruments, but with a bit of tweaking…

Many kpop fans have commented that the chorus really sticks out because it bears so many similarities to Rihanna’s track. “This is a great song, but the chorus is similar to Rihanna’s Shut Up and Drive,” one listener remarked. Another pointed out, “It’s ironic how Oh! begins with the words ‘brand new sound,’ yet the track sounds exactly like Rihanna’s Shut Up and Drive.” Some netizens believe that Oh! may not be necessarily plagiarized but is still heavily influenced by Rihanna’s song.

Shut Up and Drive and Oh! share a striking resemblance in terms of their arrangement of notes and how they are played. The melody of the SNSD track by Kenzie however seems more of an interpolation rather than a direct sample from Rihanna’s hit single.

It should also be noted that Shut Up and Drive contains a credited interpolation of New Order’s Blue Monday. We don’t know for sure if SME credited either parties for the sample; however, if Rihanna’s company bothered to give proper credits for their sample, surely SME should have done the same for SNSD’s.

Ultimately, we’ll leave the verdict to you – do you think it’s bogus or are there similarities between these two tracks?

Okay, they DO sound similar .. but not that much. I like both songs either way =/
EDIT : Listened to Shut Up and Drive (haven't listened to it in a long time) and then listened to Oh! right after that , only one little part of the chorus sounds the same ! COME ON !

Oh! is okay... But it's nowhere near as good as Gee or Genie. So it's disappointing. I'm sure I'll listen to it once the album is out, but it will have to grow on me.

I thought Oh! was okay too I like the chorus but its not that addicting (to me)
but its still a pretty good song I can see why it went #1 on various charts
the music video looks like its gonna be fun I'll probably like it more after I see the video!!!

If I'm not mistaking, the MV will be released on the 27th. The album on the 28th. And the comeback stage @ Music Core on the 30th!
