I kinda felt the same way, which makes no sense as I'm gay haha.

I don't think the feeling of change is not because she got married, but rather because she kept it all secret from us til it actually happened. For me anyway.

Ayu's has created a relationship with her fans which creates the illusion that she is very open with her personal life; her blogs are of her non-sense home life, her lyrics are always very personal, she tweets back to fans on twitter. So it came as a shock to find out she had hidden the fact she fell in love and was intent on getting married. I think feeling of "betrayal" stems from that, rather than the fact she got married. At least for me anyway.

Betrayal isn't the right word, I just can't think of it right now. I do feel ayu has changed, but thats what a lot of us wanted. Even though it's positive change (rather than being all clubby/drinking/drugs etc), change is always difficult for devoted fans.

I have to agree, I sometimes thought she'd never get married, that her relationship was with her fans and nobody else, and that fulfilled her. But when you think about it, that line of thinking is pretty stupid. She can have both, and she should have both.

But I'm not so dellusional to think I had a chance with Ayu. I can't cook paella.

And this marriage has really brought out the people who felt she belonged to them *coughjorgecough*

I definitely agree with this.

I think it's just natural to be emotional connected with whatever Ayu says, does, feels, etc. I became a devoted Ayu fan because I see myself in her lyrics. She is the person I wished I was. I'm a girl but her sudden marriage has made a really deep impact in my life but not in a negative way. I was just shocked. I don't really mind Ayu's personal life especially her love life.

I understand what you feel in other way. I hope you'll find your own angel.

i have mixed feeling when reading your post.. i don't know whether i should laugh at you or console you.

But seriously, (after some rational and serious thinking) I think it is really good that you are honest to your feelings, and you have a place to open up to, instead of bottling up in your heart. =]

anyway, what i wanted to say is that, good things will come/ happen when you have straightened up your thoughts/ feelings. Have faith in yourself, that's what ayu has been emphasising in her songs. Don't mind what others say about u. Even ayu also doesn't even care about what other people says.
