lol that vibrato - when she started singing many brix were shat....

I have seen Ayu's future lol I hope she doesn't end up looking like that, though - while Hirota still looks kind of cute and nice, that surgery is way over the top, I much preferred her younger untouched face

Maybe I shouldn't have posted this, sorry if I have offended anyone. Obviously I'm not racist I love Ayu I'm just saying considering that in my opinion that Asian women age the least graceful she looks great

Wow, she looks so cute in the younger videos. Her style is so cool, it's very of it's time, but it's adorable and you can definitely see how it's fed into the style of current solo singers. I'm going to go try some of her songs. The power of a cute hairstyle and outfit~

...that is so what Ayu is going to look like in 30 years time, whether we like it or not lol

If you have to start what you're saying with, "I'm not racist but..." then it's probably a good idea to just not say it.

Well it is true though that different "races" age differently, of course, as skin is one of the major elements of visible aging. If you consider one superior to another in that area is another thing. I for one think that people with darker skin tend to age the best, I seriously cannot tell at times if somebody is 30 or 60 unless it is for grey hair.

I really don't think so. This woman had plastic surgery way back when the technology wasn't as good as it is nowadays. Like in the videos I posted earlier, we're talking about 1965 onwards. They probably messed up her face pretty bad and that's why she looks like that right now, specially since she obviously kept on having more and more plastic surgery to try fix all the damage.

If ayu has plastic surgery in 10 or 20 years the technology will be much advanced, and hopefully she'll not end up looking like this lady. Same goes for namie, koda, utada, and any other female singer who decides to have plastic surgery in the future.

I agree on the plastic surgery aspect. This woman had it done when it just started happening, when they started really figuring out what to do and how to do it and it is much, much more advanced and less risky nowadays(though of course there is still a number of risks and you can still look awful if they **** up). And also, she went completely overboard with it to a level I would compare to Michael Jackson.

Ayu now just needs to change her false eyelashes, don't use colored contacts and overuse the make-up, change the photographer and have her lips normal to always look fresh and young like forever. and no more short hair probably

I find that with short hair she often looks her youngest...unless it's the 2004 semi-short hair, that made her looks like a mother of two.

it made her look OMG (*_*) during A BEST, but either her new stylist is bad, or something, but in Shake It PV she looked like 40 with it. quite unflattering

Shake It was indeed unflattering. But stuff like the FIVE covers were gorgeous with that hair and wouldn't have worked the same with another haircut.

I think it'd look cool with long straight hair. it'd give an artsy feeling. while short hair in the shoot made it look more edgy

For me, Ayumi looks like a mix of Ami Suzuki and Matsuda Seiko.
