I don't really care about the photos as much as the styling. She looks great this way.

I was always a sucker for the black lipstick too.

I think it would be really amazing if she could transition away from the japanese gyaru fashion mags, and more into these larger fashion ones.

The interview in Chinese is quite formal and conventional. Credit has Takako Tsuriya who did interview, i wonder did she translate it into Chinese. Ayu said that it'd be difficult to pick an album from her discography as her favourite, but SECRET or ASFXX would qualify as her favourite, in a way.

There's a behind-the-scene section where AlvinGoh talked a little, which i made a digest.

In 2005 Alvin flied from Singapore to HK to work as makeup artist. After eight years, he declared "I am a creative director".

Half-a-year ago, Alvin presented his portfolio to Ayu's management. This led him to this Bazaar cover story - his first with Ayu. He designed eight 'styles' for her in 10 hours. The wardrobe, which he brought from HK, contained some of his private collection (remarked as stylist-own: diva, avant garde, punkie, dominatrix, purist).

"A lady waiting for love", Alvin describes Ayu, "like a princess". Alvin and Ayu are now friends. "She added me on facebook, then sent email to me to say 'I miss you', and she has invited me to work as her stylist for Avex Trax anniversary show.
