In the recent muraayu video ayu spoke about Mask. I asked a girl who translates a lot of Perfume, BiSH videos if she could translate it for me and she kindly did it.

“The song’s called ‘MASK.’ It’s about the mask you put on & the so-to-speak mask of modern times, and crossing over both sides. I wanted to create that kind of theme for the both of them. It’s because you simply can’t express with a mask that it has become difficult to convey facial expressions; like a work of art. Everyone being kind is something that there’ll never be enough of, but there’s no such thing as a life that’s that perfect. One must also have sorrow…”

She also translated Nonfiction's tv performance so please give her some love, she did a fantastic job with it. I highly recommend checking her youtube channel

Forgive me, I'm not familiar with how digital singles work in Japan. Is it normal for us to not have a preview of the single yet? For some reason it seems off to me but not sure how things work nowadays.

It is normal, not much promotion is done for digital singles, most of artists don't even shoot a cover art for their digital single

You know, ayu is big, she will shoot a proper cover art and even if we are lucky we get a MV

If you talking about Mask, Ayu shooting PV. Don't know will she drop it with the song or release on album DVD exclusively
