pay these chinese newspapers no heed...they love to make some sort of headline with anyone...especially if you're as huge a star as Ayumi-chan ^^ they love diggin up dirt on a lot of stars, not just Japanese stars, but Chinese nd Krn stars as well.....so, i never read them nor do i pay them any attention...i have read many of these newspapers...they're untrue 97% of the time
of course u must realize that this is my opinion ^^

Not to be a *****, but..uhm..my friend has some Japanese exchange students, and they told me themselves that Ayu is not popular anymore. Or something like that. Not to say its factual, but its from true Japanese natives...So..I dunno.

ummm... i have a japanese friend whos 30something.. she told me ayumi was one the most famous people in japan.... when i ask her .. if mika nakashima was more famous than ayu.. she said mika was pritty famous but not to ayumi LV--- this was about 5months ago i ask her...


you can also notice in music staion..( they say) super mega DIVA ayumi hamasaki ^_^..... they dont even call boa a DIVA... they just go boa chan

i would ask my friend again... but i havent seen her in a while

isn't this newspaper from singapore? i thought shin min was from singapore.

but anyway.. i wouldn't surprise me if ayu is overtaken by someone else. really. if she doesn't want to be completely removed from the field, she should start making quality music again. and a friend of mine just recently went to japan, and she said BoA was just more present. like BoA stuff everywhere, and almost no ayu

i love the photobook. my friend bought it for me in japan because she told me it was way more difficult to find Ayu stuff

I'm sick of people comparing BoA to Britney... Sure she dances, her vocal style is somewhat similar to Britney's... thats really it...

Britney doesn't really sing about... anything... O_o;;

and BoA isn't a mega ****, (Excuse my language) compared to Britney... Ayu dresses more like Britney...

I dont think BOA is anything like Britney Spears. Her dance moves and singing style seem unique to me. I like Ayu way better though. Her songs are so good. But I would like to see a return to her more energetic music. Maybe she is just trying to grow up a little more, but I don't think she can do any wrong. Also, I wouldn't rely a tiny part of newspaper to tell me what to think. it is most likely an editorial. Plus the Oricon charts, Music Channels, and variety shows dictate whats hot or not in Japan like in America.

I'm not sure about that, but even if she did quit (which is somewhat unlikely to me), she'd still have that other show which is hosted by Norika that she'd take over.

God this is so not true. v__V I mean I love BoA 'n all but Ayu is so much better...and would she still be getting numbers ones, and would her Memorial Address album have broke the 1 million barrier. sheesh. c__c
