I'm not a big fan of concerts but usually on TV she's just singing to the backing track with her own vocals doing the backing and with the 'backing singers' lipsyncing pretending its them, as is the band with the track - always amuses me how such obviously synth-based tracks like the LOVEppears singles still have the whole band on stage when there was clearly no real instruments involved bar the guitar - Boys & Girls...a drummer...and drum kit!? pfft! Mind you, it looks a lot better than someone twiddling knobs on a synth though. I preffer it when she's alone on stage or with just dancers as the whole 'band' illusion irritates me as its not real. Yes, sometimes the band do chime in with the odd instrument being played over the backing track. .

I'm not counting the AyuReady? performances, here, by the way..

I'm almost positive that her older songs that featured little to no actual instruments are clearly all performed with parts written for em - I mean you can just tell that Boys & Girls and AUDIENCE sound different than they once did in their original incarnations.

And though it pains me to admit that those back up vocalists sing (well, just Peco, Princess is nice), I'm also fairly positive that yes, they sing, too.
