i think i know where he got it from too... she covered one of Duff's songs that was a bad idea, She switched to a rock style from pop and her music kind of sounds like somthing duff would sing except hosni ni, kazura inu, shining and pink pink pink. But Chieco actually has talent so she is no Duff

Same here!!!! "Brilliance" is one of my top 10 favorite j-pop albums ever!!! =D

Her Hilary's "I Can't Wait" cover is pretty decent, and to be honest the album is one of the most well produced (japanese) records i've heard in quite awhile. A must buy/download for Ayu (and Hilary!) fans!!! I promise you'll love it as much as i do...

LOL Ayu And Hilary fans lmao that is funny but yeah i love Kawabe Chieco her english accent is so cute!!! i think her career will rise soon its just so hard to shake that idol image off her at least i got rid of the sailor moon feel lol. But yes Brillance was and still an awesome album did it sell well on the charts i wonder does any one know? and i think someone told me there was stupid little controversy over her "Shining PV" i think the part when her skirt goes up showing her underwear i was like oh well there will always be critics lol

"brilliance" ranked 92nd its first week of release. That should give you an idea of how well it sold.

kawabe chieco is half filipino-half japanese if anyoen hasn't know~

i want to follow her steps though im not part japanese/filipino.. i got same but im part korean/filipino/japanese...

im enrolling in axev this summer nyan~! i wana be next kawabe star hkekeke~ XD

I never heard the similiarites between those two songs. They've got the same kind of style, but beyond that I don't hear it. I prefer "be your girl," anyway.

Is Be your Girl really a cover o_O
I knew that her song "I can't wait" was the Japanese version of Lizzie Mc Guire's main theme (by Hilary Duff too), but I never saw anything about that one XD

Anyway.
Chieko is now fifth month pregnant, she's expected to give birth in May! (source tokyograph)
