[lament] Have you ever damaged your Ayu-wares?

My darn father dropped my (miss0Understood album...plastic crack..and i replaced it...but it look nicer than the original =)

I dropped both my MA CD+DVDs - I got two because I wanted the poster - anyway, I was only going to use the first one but I dropped it and the front section became loose, there was a crack on the front. Then I went and dropped the good one and there was a bit of damage with that too.

I have had alot of bad experiences... The first CD I got was "LOVEppears" for Christmas 2003 and I was so excited! My mom paid alot for that and I brought it with me to our trip to DisneyWorld for the plane rides. I got home and I had left the CD case with the booklet and all by my window, which leaks alot, especially with the snow and all, and my CD case and booklet was all wrinkled and brown spotted! I was so pissed because I get mad at even a mark or wrinkle in my homework!

Also, my "MY STORY" cd skips now, and my "(miss)understood" CD skips as well... My copy of "BLUE BIRD" skips on the instrumentals, which pisses me off because it was the first single I bought of hers and I spent $25 on it with the poster and the DVD and all so it should work. I am thinking of purchasing them all again but this time the CD/DVD version of "MY STORY" and the CD version of "(miss)understood" so I can have the other photobook. I don't know about LOVEppears because it is so expensive but I really want the case (although I hate the cover - none of Ayu's album covers thrill me besides A BALLADS) and the CDs have been through hell and back, lol.

Also, I ordered a A BALLADS poster from someone at Tokyo-Nights and the shipping tube was dented in a certain part so the poster has creases going all down the right-hand side! I put it in a frame though and you can't really tell anyways.

Once I accidentally knocked over a pile of CDs and the RAINBOW CD fell out of its case and cracked completely in half! I promptly went on YesAsia and bought another one, but still...

OMG in half??? Aren't CDs supposed to be sturdier than that...? If that happened to me...I think my heart would just feel a dull pain for a long time. I don't know what makes me cry anymore.

THAT's horrible. CRACK in half. i can't imagine.....

NOTE: try to hold the cd with at least a finger in the hole, it will be firmer. i notice if you only hold the outer, and when you put too many strenght, you might accidentaly crack it too.

I havent damaged any of mine but my (miss)understood case was broke when i gots it

There is a crack on my Duty album. for my I am... album, i lent it to my friend. and she accidentally spilled water on the booklet. she bought it from me and gave it to her friend. -__- i was damn sad.

that sucks, but if it makes you feel better, my evolution single's case is cracked to pieces and the cd is all scratchy. and on the day i got the heaven single i dropped pizza sauce all over the booklet. and also, i have a judy and mary 3 inch single that my roommates cat chewed up.

I had a pen in my hand while putting the Dearest insert away and now there's a pen mark on the front cover.

I don't care too much because I didn't really like that cover anyway, but it's annoying when I think about it.

Oh yeah i just remembered what i did do

i opened BLUE BIRD with a knife to get the wrapping off and theres a small cut on the obi side now

that reminded me of another...i somehow got black permanent marker on the forgiveness cd. i have no clue how, and its very small, but annoying.

My JAPAN version of Ayu-mi- II NSMM had a small rift on the booklet when I got, it looks like from when someone inserted it. I don't really care much, because it's so small, but it's a bit annoying since new goods aren't supposed to come damaged.

Wow, that's horrid! Thank god it never happened to my Ayu-stuff. My old Shakira and No Doubt CD skips though, it's so annoying. What causes it anyway? My CDs are hardly scratched too.

Plus if your fingers aren't small, you also risk having oil from your skin on the edges of your CD. That's why you should use the center of the CD.

You guys are so lucky compared to what happened to me. When my apartment was burglarized, they stole my entire ayu collection which has all her cds and some dvds including her complete box set.

LOL With me, I dropped my Rainbow case on the floor and it somewhat came apart I was like 0_0;; NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! But i managed to fix it. Now it opens too easily >.>; There are also like minor cracks on my Rainbow case.
