I think it will be released at Christmas time. A gift for fans from Ayu & Utada.
I heard it will be something like a mix of No way to say & Sakura DROPS. I'm so anticipating it. XD

Dun't really think it's such a good idea!
 Even if they did so, i dun't think they can come together cause their voices will end up crashin' into each others. And they sing really differently. Still Ayumi is most really pop while Utada is really R&B type, ya know. So if they wanna do so, i think either one of 'em gotta be feature, i think. Heehee...

I don't think Ayus voice goes well together with other voices... I never watched AyuReady? though so the only collabs I've heard are the Merry Christmas one with Gackt, and the A Song is Born with KEIKO.

^^and I definitely don't think her voice would go with Hikki's...
the very style of their voices are too different...it would sound...wierd.

anyway, ayu do treat hikki as a competitor, but rival? who knows? and having a competitor is a good thing, you know you had to keep working hard to beat the other, and so will the other person.

both have completely diff styles, they usually sing in completely differen tactaves. Utada goes for a whole different minor than Ayu. Ayu sings way diff, utada's range is much wider, Ayu's more defined in her voice. lyric wise- they dont' really have similarities. Ayu talks more about other people and how peopel view her or the world, and Utada kinda does the whole thing about her life. Ayu's pop rockish, Utada's more pop R&b ish...
it's true that having diff styles dont' mean you can't collaborate. But there voices i think would clash...i'm trying to hear it in my head...but i can't. thinkgin about it...Ayu's nmotes that she sings have darker feels to it most of the time, but still light toned, Utada has brighter tones most of the times.

Their voices would sound horrible together. Both of them have great voices (with their own drawbacks as well). But I think with such voices, they just wouldn't sound good with anyone else.
