Yeah, I'm a starving single mom, so I don't think I'll be able to afford Secret until May or June, and that'll be the cd-only OS version ^^;; I never even bought (m)u, I just kinda inherited Prime's copy when he moved in.

So yeah I do hope it leaks soon. I hope it leaks before my trip for Thanksgiving, so I have something to listen to on the road

I wonder if any of the Secret tracks will be good for road-travel

The album will definitely leak, what with all the anticipation, whoever gets it first from avex will probably take a copy and rip it for all to hear like a week early :3

i dont find it hard to believe that it may have been already leaked. cause i remember the time i found evanescence's new album leaked a MONTH earlier before the release , yes a month , i couldnt believe it either but i guess it goes to show that anything's possible...

But western music albums are often finished a good 3-4 months before the album's release. The industry works so much more slowly over here.

as i posted on another thread:

the classical example was Chicane's album "Easy To Assemble". An unfinished version was leaked on the internet, and every fan got it. The finished version of the album never got the release, despite 2 singles were already released with good chart positions. Chicane said it was the direct result of the album getting leaked. It was quite ashame, really.

Had I been a fan that got mp3s of the unfinished version, I'd have been REALLY excited to hear the completed mix on the original album. They should have still released the finished product in that case; i'm sure some fans just got mad that they never got the good, high-quality, polished version of the CD. I mean, if you heard a demo of a song, wouldn't you be excited to hear the finished product? I would. I think Chicane and their management made a bad decision in not releasing the completed album. I think it was foolish to automatically believe no one would buy it if they downloaded it. Sure, sales might not be as high, but it would still sell at least enough to pay for the album's production.

i agree it was a bad decision by chicane and his record label. i am sure ayu and avex wont make this decision though!

Yeah, it does suck knowing the mu-mo-ers have the album and can enjoy it via cellphone right now, BUT... I believe we'll see it coming to us in mp3 format soon enough because of this.

It doesn't count to the sales figures yet. They probably do this for promotion?

I suspect the way the cellphones work it's more or less impossible to transfer songs from them to the computer, the only possibility would be to record the sound as you play it on the cell, it seems no one in Japan is up to doing that for us, heh.
