and if you're young, you can easily get ill by thinking of losing weight all the time.

That photo is disgusting. Super bad lighting. I believe Ayu is the kind that gains weight easily though - she was chubby in her early days. She probably hits the gym a lot to maintain her killer bod.

She's incredibly petite and is built like a young girl. And I think she looks great and always has. She's never been "fat." I don't think it's physically possible for her to be fat, unless she ate all the time. But she doesn't have time to eat that much. She might have had a little more weight when she was younger because she didn't work out like she does now.

She looks fine to me...
But I was surprised to hear my husband's friends (all Japanese) saying that Ayu had gained lots of weight and wasn't as cute as she used to be. I wonder if that's how most people think... oh, those friends are non-fans.

It's probably because they weren't used to seeing her so thick and built ;D

I mean, girls in Japan are eerily thin [guys too.. most of the time the guys seem to be a lot thinner..]

My friends say the same about not being cute anymore, but did not talk about the weight.
Ayu uses too much make up, I guess they are right but she is not as young as before.(Of course, they all talk about plastic surgery too...)

why is everyone saying she needs to lose weight? i think she looks unhealthy right now IMO.. she always covers up lately (which can be a good think.. she isn't acting like koda kumi) but I think 5-10lb would look good on her.
