[Charts & Rankings] Ayu on the "most searched" list at Yahoo!Japan for the first half of 2008

Ayu placed 13th on the "general" list of "searched people" that includes male and female individuals, and 7th on the list of females. I THINK Ayu is one of the "oldest" [in terms of career length] women in the top 20 for that category.. not sure though. Hikki counts so.. they're kinda tied, I guess. And Hoshino Aki is older age-wise than Ayu by a year.. [she's a gravure model.]

Last year she placed 11th on the first list, and 7th on the second.



In other news, YouTube tops the whole chart, with mixi [2nd] and 2channel [3rd] rounding out the top three.

I don't think this really gauges the amount of fans that one has, but it certainly shows how much interest is still in some artists.. (lack of Namie Amuro is very telling imo.) [though, I imagine the Google search results would be more telling than these.]
