in the AT meyabe she put on weight a little... but she is so small and with only 2 or 3 kg we notice that! But even when she has put on weight in the past she was FAAAAAAAR from beign FAT... I think in this CDL she was really slim again... yeah... really slim ^^

I was shoked with T2M performance in MUSIC JAPAN in 2007:

I was really doubting the woman in those pics were ayu... ^^ but anyway... I really don't care if she sometimes put on weight... sure she is the first who isn't ok with herself, and really, it's not a good feeling... -____-

No that's definitely her lol. The distinct face. She still looks like Ayu with just a little more fat on her. I guess it is her metabolism starting to kick in.

I think that she probably gained a lot of weight earlier possibly from a lot of stress, and I different kind of stress made her lose it. I mean, she's been soooo busy, I would be surprised if she didn't lose weight. Plus, think of all the touring she's been doing this year. Hell, all that activities sure to make you lose weight.

Could it also be that she likes eating? From what I've seen she eats all kinds of foods whenever she travels etc. Not saying it's a bad thing but if you eat too much the result is obvious. I guess it's just if she wants to maintain a certain weight she has to watch what she eats because her metabolism is slow down. And also what you said about the stress. In the end I wouldn't want her to stop eating just so she can stay slim. The healthiest way would be to exercise, which I'm sure she does already. Losing weight due to not eating or stress is not healthy haha.

I think a lot depends on hairstyle/makeup. And she did gain weight; I wouldn't call her fat by any stretch of imagination (in all honesty she was SUPER skinny in 2003, and it didn't actually look that healthy). Although I think some of it is due to her choice in wardrobe, which some would actually make her look skinnier and some would make her look fuller (like the puffed sleeves in Secret era).

I think she's wearing heavier makeup nowadays, and I think some part is due to the fact that she is older and the heavier makeups might make her look more flattering and look younger.

Although on the Christmas live I did see dark shadows underneath the eyes that shown through makeup a little.

Well, honestly I think that the prettiest I´ve seen her in 2008 are in two different ocassions: from Mirrorcle World to Wacoal commercials and in Days PV. And in the former ones she was chubby.

She obviously gained weight this year [C´mon, look at her boobs, they are huge now compared to what they were before xDDDD] but I mean she has always been stunningly beautiful, I think it´s just different sides of her but I like every different one of them. From all the Japanese female artist I know, she is by far the most beautiful and versatile (wee?? Japanese only? I think she is way prettier than many celebs in general)

Well I'm watching a lot of stuff from her 2003 era actually. And comparing her from then and now...that's why she looks so different to me I guess.

I feel her looks is different at different stages... I love her looks from Loveppears era to I am.. Her eyes start to get different from Dearest onwards.. She looks kind of unnatural to me nowadays

She changed her eyebrows, for sure~
Her face looks a bit wider..
She changed her makeup style on her eyes too~
No longer does she have gigantic eyelashes.. ahaha..

Honestly, in 2003, she looks like any other normal Japanese girl..
It's a bit skinny to foreigners, but Japanese girl has very small frame, and not much fat in the diet.
I think she looked really good in 2003 ~ 2005, 2006 actually.. ahahaha.

2007, she started getting a bit more weight.
And in the last half of 2007, she gained much weight.
Like in Talkin' 2 myself performances... ._.);
Maybe she just started to eat and eat cause she was sad? ahahaha.

Anyways, I dont think the really curly hairstyle helped..
It made her look a bit chubbier.

I dont like her chest so big.. looks unnatural.
Cause we know she really doesnt have that big chest. LOL

Anyways, yeah, I cant describe it, but she looks much different in 2008.
Her face is much softer, especially in the cover for Days.
Its a lot of makeup, and maybe botox or some thing ahahaa.

Yeah put a bit weight on but has since lost it. Sure she looks different from 2003, but she looked different from 2001 in 2003 and so on. She is always changing. Its a mix of obviously changing over the years, but most especially hairstyles, makeup, etc.

I think Ayu is at that age where her weight is going to fluctuate often. But even if she's gained a bit of weight, I agree that she looks much softer.

Her eyes were also different. She had a baggy look which she doesn't really have anymore, probably more surgery. And her cheeks look a bit different. Oh and back in 2003 she actually had blood vessels in her eyes.
