Because Mirrorcle World, alongside with GREEN and Sparkle had a horrendous director who tried directing when he can't even take photos well.

Bold and Delicious was too gimmicky. I didn't like My Name's Women, it just looked too generic, and that was also my complaint with the video for Game. And Moments was just plain weird.

sparkle. the video is absolutely horrible.. i would have preferred the jpop idol throughout the whole thing instead of seeing the nasty latex scenes

For me... the biggest disappointment is (don't) Leave me alone. The song sounds so epic! truly one of the better songs from Ayu. In my opinion, they should have done something like My Name's Woman, but MORE epic x100. (D)LMA had the perfect ups and downs for a great music video. the bridge was also excellent. gahhh. instead, she just had this bob haircut and cheesy suit/skirts and walked in a frosty looking building. it was awful!!! the outfits... YUCK. cheap and yuck. i'd be embarassed if the music video was played in public tbh... like people would go "so that's ayumi hamasaki? meh"

Someone on here did a great analysis of the (d)Lma PV. I recommend it for anyone who has misgivings about the video because it made me look at it differently--plus it made me like it. I'm pretty sure it's in the PV analysis thread.

As for some of the other posts on here, I think some of you may not be considering a simple PV as a good PV. For instance, I thought Daybreak was great. Simple, subdued, and really nice. That's a PV where the lyrics are really central, and so I think people who aren't fluent in Japanese won't get as much out of it because we're not really being shown a story. Instead, Ayu's singing the story. I always saw the Daybreak PV as her as the narrator of a story, sort of sharing her thoughts as she walks on a long, barren road. She's sort of still on a journey but she's come to this conclusion or something.

Then, of course, not every PV is going to be like Ladies Night, alterna, Mirrorcle World and ourselves... I kind of like it better that way. If every PV Ayu made was an attempt to be deep and philosophical it'd get pretty boring after a while, plus it would take away from the videos that WERE significant like that. Sometimes a music video is just a music video, meant to showcase a song. Nothing more. It's just a matter of what you like and what you don't, I guess.

The only PVs that bore the hell out of me are her summer song PVs, with the exception of fairyland since that was interesting. BLUE BIRD is my favorite Ayu summer song and I thought the PV was dull as hell. Beautiful camerawork and colors, but booooooooring. I'm sure people think I'm weird for that, but then again I think people who didn't like Endless sorrow are weird lol. How can you not like that PV? It's so good =( Same with Mirrorcle World. That ****'s all about the Singularity you guys~
