I think (miss)understood has great flow. I never noticed the thing about the instruments, but that's probably why I think it has great flow.

idk, it just seems so obvious to me that mu doesn't flow as well as all her other albums. It feels more like a BEST album in the terms that it just feels like a bunch of songs stuck together for me. Don't get me wrong, I love mu, I just don't care much for how the tracklist is arranged...and I'm not sure there's a way to make it better.

I honestly think that NL has the best flow now, but we're getting off topic.

^ How the album flows from one song to another. A good album flow has very smooth transition from a song to another, so nothing sounds awkward or sticks out.

@Calico: Interesting... I personally find NEXT LEVEL to be her worst album in terms of flow... It's just the awkward "sections" of Bridge to the sky --- NEXT LEVEL --- Disco-munication & rollin' - GREEN... was weird.

Also about Memorial address, it's a mini-album, so I never expected any "flow" per se, but I like how the album works in having happy songs then a few cool/rock songs and then spam it with the ballads!

It's okay, I think I'm the only one who thinks rollin' --> GREEN sounds perfect.

I think both sounds perfect together too^^ They both are songs about "changings", and rollin' is about the needing of imediate changing, so, to me, a totally different song after works =)

To me the "flow' thing is when the songs comunicate with each other in the order they are on tracklist, and it makes the album works as a whole... it begins, has its middle, its climax and ends =)

i think (miss)understood is one of her best albums in terms of being enjoyable. it has a great variety and isn't stuck on a one-note theme, such as guilty.

i've never noticed the instrumental thing, but i'm listening to the album through as I type haha.

MY STORY was my favorite album up until (m)u was released, and now I think (m)u is my favorite haha.

but as for secret and guilty....oh lord....haha i found those albums boring. the covers, the booklets, the songs...boring...i think secret is my least played album though...

ANYWAY that's off track xDD

They made the "hey"s in alterna very plastic sounding in the album version.
Actually, I think they removed them entirely.. haha.

^ lol she must have caught a cold cos it was a rainy day. okay never mind that was a really... cold joke. XD

The opinions on her albums are really interesting here...

@ Calico: Well probably you are one of the minority... Andre made a good point about the songs (rollin' & GREEN) being connected in terms of lyrics, but for most casual fans, or even Western fans, the lyrics aren't the first thing they listen out for or even understand... I think by "flow" here, we/I mean more like in terms of their style/sound, but I like how Andre thinks of rollin' --- GREEN, haha

^It's okay, I mean the same thing. =P I had no idea the lyrics were related.

What can I say, the opening of GREEN sounds great after rollin' fades out.

I guess it works as "introducing" the next part of the album since the connection is that abrupt imo, haha.

Actually, no. If they removed it all together, it would of been obvious (like the missing guitar solo in M on A COMPLETE ~All Singles~). They're still there...

Some people really haven't noticed that? It's VERY straightforward in this album, especially the similar strings in some songs.
I still think GUILTY has the best flow through.

The Judgment Day was her smartest interlude, imo, hahaha.
