15 songs only? There's honestly isn't a single Kumi's song that I dislike / can't tolerate so my 15 fav songs list can never happen...

Speaking of her ballads, I'm so impressed how deep her lyrics became with time. Like look at all the lyrics for ballads starting Bon Voyage. I always was a huge sucker for Kumi's ballads tho, so I like everything starting from It's too lateto Kimi Omoi. I'm playing stay with me this winter season on repeat, TRICK live version of this track is EVERYTHING. I sooooooo miss her seasonal releases...

Oh and congrats Kuueen with the #2 on recochoku! I'm surprised Nihino Kana is so low, I thought she does so well digitally and her music isn't on iTunes either since she's under Sony.

I don't know if I can list 15 of her songs cause I love so many.
TABOO though, is definitely my all-time favorite. I have more than 1000 scrobbles on my last.fm.
This song and its PV marked my teenage years. I love the choreo, I love the melody, I love the erokakkoi, I love everything about it.
To me, TABOO is Kuu at her best and the reconfirmation of why I fell in love with Kuu in the first place (back in 2005 with Butterfly).

Same here! I was impacted by that PV. It was one of the first jpop songs I listened, and my first Kuu's song. I thought it was a remix actually because the first time I listened to it it was a mash up with a song from a USA raper, I can't remember the name

That audio was magical it has to be my ringtone. A top 15 is definitely hard, she's my absolute favorite artist ever and her voice alone makes a song a top 5 imo. Merry christmas kuu lovers!

Gosh, I actually cried a little (listening to Alive) trying to figure out where some of these go. When I read the Top 15 challenge, I immediately knew Alive and Koishikute go at the top of my list. Obviously, I still cry when I hear Koda sing Alive. Koishikute's intro is unforgettable for me. The rest of the song isn't the best, but it's the intro to Koishikute that makes it my #2.

I wish Koda had taken Interlude ~Bon Voyage~ and filled it out into a whole song. It's so short, but right up there with TABOO and Driving, which are to this day Koda's most solid pop tracks.

Anyway, I think I have a very balanced list spanning around 8 years of Koda's discography. Songs I want to be on this list but are ruined:

01. Passing By (Still can't stand the Michael Jackson wannabe.)
02. HURRICANE (Koda sounds so bored with this song, even though it's catchy.)
03. Ai no Ut.... JUST KIDDING!

Edit: I'm not a megafan of Koda like I am of KOKIA. I honestly couldn't do this list for KOKIA, who I would need around 70 spots to list favorites. But I hope my list is rather broad for her career. I know she's made some great music prior to Kingdom and Black Cherry, but I was introduced to her during her 12 weeks single releases.

I just wanted to know what do you guys like about Dance In The Rain. I find that song so basic... The MV is really nice, i guess, but she has better songs imo
