tbh I think that's a bit of a reason on why it was a hit, cause it's a ''simpler song'' to sing at karaokes and such. The lyrics are also pretty, better than you imo But I agree sometimes it's bland live.

LUCKY STAR is... awful... the verses are really amazing, but the chorus is not really good. the autotune is too much sadly. she should've released some fc exclusive b-side best with those songs tbh

The autotone fits the songs to me, I think? It sounds pretty much as I expected, already adding it to my uplifiting mood playlist on Spotify lol

I also like the song, it's better than puff for me. And one of my favorite parts is the chorus, it's very catchy. My problem is the production/mixing again, it sounds very noisy even the flac file. The song actually makes me want to watch the a-nation live. lol

I really like Lucky Star, it's similar to the exile song, but the exile song can't stand much. I love her voice in the beginning of the song!! it's going to look and sound so good live!

The live broadcast of the first day of the new tour is part of a bigger 20th anniversary project with TV Asahi channel 1!

As a second part they will broadcast her first live video work, secret ～FIRST CLASS LIMITED LIVE～, fully commented by her in November 2020.
As a third part they plan to broadcast a special TV programme in 2021 to "look back the past 20 years and unravel the artist Koda Kumi".
They gonna announce details for that at a later date.

They also mention in the news that they live broadcast My name is... in TV quality with camera cranes and such for long-time archival storage.
But other than that it will be of high quality, Idk what they mean by that.

I'm guessing the concert is going to be recorded with 4k or 8k cameras, since they expect the 1080p resolution to go obsolete. By long time archive I would expect being record on film, but it's not possible to broadcast live with this method.

God I wished you or Yume no Uta were the successful ballads being chosen as Top Hit for Kumi... these 2 are much much better and show her true singer talents when performed live. Ai no Uta in live is blank

She looks goooorgeous, and it's clear that she doesn't even need an audience to deliver a good performance, she was very energetic and charismatic as always. Most of the songs were performed half way, except Lucky Star and LIT.

I'm so annoyed that I recorded with the subs on for Korean... I didn't even want subtitles but I forgot to turn 'em off.

Judging from the background screens, she's going to perform D.D.D. and Lucky Star (duh) at the tour as well.

And yesterday UG joined Kuu for the Insta live she did from the rehearsal studios, yay!
He did the choreo for Lucky Star. And if we'd check the old songs he did in the past we could speculate which ones she's singing at the tour.

Too bad he's not actively dancing anymore.

Sen no Kotoba is a lovely surprise! I love that song. Really happy to see TABOO as well! Thank you for the photos. I completely forgot this was on early this morning.

I'd love to see Ayu's performance as well.

I really like 'Lucky Star', the verses and chorus are a great mixture of soft and then uplifting, so there's a lot of variation in the song. The autotune is still tuned down a little bit from 'put your hands up!' as well. It reminds me a little bit of 'U KNOW' which I've always liked.

I'm really pleased to see FUKO come back as a dancer for her 20th tour, she's always been a fav kuu dancer of mine. Really disappointed we won't be able to stream it from overseas though, since I also planned to go see her this year as it's the first time in 15 years I've ever had the money saved up to go.

Hopefully they may announce another stream closer to the December dates like she's done before for DNA and Re(live).

I love Lucky Star! Even if it has a lot of autotune the song is catchy and danceable, her rap was also surprising and fits nicely the mood of the song. Wish she would be able to film summery videos for both Puff and Lucky Star.

The a-nation setlist is perfect despite Loaded being there. I just can't stand this song live. Too much screaming!!! Nice to see D.D.D, Taboo and 1000 no kotoba again.

Omg...I'm nearly in tears. I'm thrilled that she finally sang it again live outside of a tour! I'm loving the whole set list and her hair lately has been fabulous.

I just want to say the performance of "Story" with AI was just stunning. I'd love a proper duet single from them, because they pair so well vocally.
