'Bout damn time. I'm not sure if I'm excited or not though. As we've been talking about, their albums can be a chore to get through... I'm hoping the three year wait means we get a really solid one, though.

Although on the topic of albums, if I had to pick my #1 most favorite one, that would go to 'PROGLUTION'. I became a fan a little before that era (in '07) so it'll always hold a special place in my heart.  However, 'LAST' is also one pretty awesome album, too!  I think in general, though, I'd also agree that their singles are a bit easier to ease into. They just happen to be alot stronger & more appealing than some of their album tracks. I feel like the last single I've truly loved was "NO.1", in 2010, and since then it's been a struggle to get into some of their most recent singles - but ever since "I LOVE THE WORLD" - I've began to be pulled back into the UVERworld love - I thought "Itteki no Eikyō" was a sold single & "Emu" was beyond amazing as a b-side! 
Back on topic - can't wait for "DECIDED" & "RANGE".  'IDEAL REALITY' sounds so much like an album title, and since that's the tour title, I hope we can (finally) expect a new album sometime very soon! |
At one point, I thought "PROGLUTION" was the best album released by them. But, over the years, I've found I just don't enjoy much of the songs, like at all. I remember everyone hating on "Shaka Beach", but that's actually my favorite song from that album. :x I dunno, but I find some of their lyrics to be so unnecessarily wordy. It's like, TAKUYA has so much he wants to say, but he just rambles on and on. I feel like their fourth and fifth albums suffer from that especially.
I wish they would release more songs similar to "Secret" or "Isseki wo Toujiru Tokyo midnight sun" from "LIFE 6 SENSE". I absolutely love what they do with that jazzy style.
