DAI stopped doing major label work altogether in 2010, but Ayu did fish "Return Road" and "Sweet scar" out of her old demos for PQ and LOVE again... there may be more work of his that she's sitting on. In the meantime he's focusing on his new indie violin-fronted rock band, Sword of the Far East.

BOUNCEBACK are still working, but they're really starting to get derivative IMHO. The most recent work of thiers that I've personally heard is the song "V.O.L" on the most recent AAA album, and sounds like a cross between "glitter" and "You & Me" and BoA's "Shine we Are!" (which was written by them actually)... their stuff isn't really contributing anything anymore.

Yuta Nakano does great when he's doing the HAL sound, but he needs to ease up on the most generic classical-style pop ballad arrangments ever. They are just.... not his thing, generally speaking. He doesn't know enough to make them distinctive between each other. If I'd heard only "Pray" and nothing on LOVE again, I might like "Pray" much much much more. No, not "might." I WOULD like "Pray" much much more. Objectively I love it, I'm just... really tired of that sound. And I love classical music so that's kinda saying something.

Well, instead of experimenting with Western producers for Colours, she should have tried working with new Japanese producers.

I don't blame her for being terrified, though.

^ I don't get Daishi Dance. I tried listening to their newest album today and it was so generic, literally all the songs but 2 or 3 to start with the same effect and have the same beat. :/

EDIT: And I see they did "What Is Forever Love" on Colours, the weakest track besides "Fee the love".

DAISHI DANCE is good vibing music and Ayu lacks stuff like that. Listening to GEKI MORI right now.

Well in Lelio she is referring to the DJ during the chorus. The DJ sets the tone of the dancefloor; he carefully selects the tracks and escorts the people on a journey through sound. He is completely immersed in music and he uses his passion to immerse others in his world.

If I remember correctly she stated in an interview that she doesn't wanted to use "lalala" because it felt to generic and that's why she used "Lelio". And like Gustavopc stated she also said that it actually means nothing. Although I would love that theory that Zeke stated and which is around for a long time.

I think DAISHI DANCE used to be better. I don't hate What is forever love but I found it very disappointing when I listened to it for the first time.
