I'm afraid the live version will kinda suck, becouse she never her vocals are never as good live as they are in studio, but at least we'll hear the almost whole thing [they'll probably shorten it as they always do].

The worst part would probably be dreading any mistakes from Ayu's performance. I was sort of nervous watcing that Music Station (Fighter?) episode where Ayu and Utada were on the same show. Ayu's performance was pitchy and unfortunately Utada's was near flawless. x__x This time there'll be Koda too.

I don't think Hikki's ever had a flawless performance.

The last two that Ayu and Hikki were on the same, was probably of This is Love and a Passion performance, both songs not exactly Hikki's best vocal perfromances.

I've always thought that Hikki was the one that sounded better in the studio than live. Live she has very little breath control and her vocals just sound thin to me.

The first time they were together of Music Station (Pride/Passion), Ayu was perfect whilst Utada was just unbearable. That's not to say however, that Hikki wasn't feeling to well.

Hopefully Ayu's voice has become stronger after this time of recovery (unless she has been in the recording studio...)

She has, actually.

Pre-eye problems and post-eye problems.
Beginning of August she was fine and dandy, recording in Hawaii..
Beginning of September, she had her eye problems..
Mid-September, she went to L.A to relax / recover / record new songs..
Beginning of October, her eye is fine and she's good as new

I bet the song sounds amazing. Ballads are her live strong point imo.
Songs like fairyland and Startin' aren't exactly her forte.
Whereas ballads like HEAVEN that are not too straining on the voice, but very powerful when Ayu sings them are like.. amazing <3

I kinda hate TV lives, she looks mad uncomfortable sometimes. I just wanna hear the song and see who composed it.. and I wonder if Peco is gonna be there.

Ballads usually don't contain her background singers..
At least I think so.. maybe for the first performance, but for all the ones afterwards..
