Four years on, how do you feel about Glitter/Fated?

Glitter is really fun; I don't listen to it a real lot but I do enjoy it and it's not a song I find myself skipping.

Fated I've always loved and that hasn't and probably will not change.

The lyrics for both songs are really amazing to me so I cherish them, and the PV story is great too.

fated has always been beautiful to me, but glitter is just...there. IT's easily one of her weakest summer singles imo. The covers are gorgeous though, I even got the poster of it.

ironically glitter is my most listened to ayu song on last.fm, because that's when I started using last.fm and I always had glitter/fated on when it first came out

Honestly, I think glitter is pretty boring. The composition is nothing special at all and the arrangement reminds me of Dreadful Days way too much. It's definitely one of her weakest summer songs for me. I have to admit it can be pretty damn catchy though; I once had the chorus stuck in my head for a whole day and it was torturous since I couldn't get to listen to the song to get it out of my head and I didn't like it any more back then.

fated is easily one of my favorite songs from her though. It's a beautiful, subtle, calm and bittersweet ballad with a great melody, fitting arrangement, beautiful vocals and touching lyrics. Nothing here not to love. I only wish more people would love it too.

I watched the mini movie for the first time last week. That was... special... Anyways, I find that I'm listening to the two songs more now than I have when it was first released. "fated" doesn't offer much as a ballad but that's what I like about it; It's simple and calming.

I love the songs (especially LOVE Glitter) and the fated PV. Hated the Glitter Pv. I think the distant love minimovie should have been a DVD bonus and Glitter should have had an equally fun happy uplifting cute PV to match the song instead of that mess.

both song are good IMO. i love fated more > than glitter.my opinion is still the same even after four years have passed.

I think "glitter" is such a fun upbeat song and it's a nice listen.

I absolutely adore the beginning of "fated" where it starts off with the guitars and then it suddenly switches to the soft instrumentation. It completely makes the song for me. Besides that it's just an alright ballad though

glitter really gets a lot of flack despite being a more than decent track. It's incredibly catchy and people are going to be yeah yeah yeah / no no no-ing because of it!

I loved glitter from the start. It was different - it was more "dance" orientated. It had very, very slight trance influences and an energy about it. I remember going for a run when it leaked - it made me want to run in the hot sun. I replayed it in my car while driving. I had a quote on my signature for a while by a member that said "the crazies who complain about glitter are probably the ones who get angry when Ayu releases anything that isn't alterna or something" haha.

fated... I hated. I thought it was absolutely boring and nothing special at all. Especially with that beautiful melody/sound that the PV opens with. I remember watching it with my sister and she was like "this sounds like a song I would like" and I'm like "well it sucks." lol.

4 years later... my love for glitter has subsided. Still nice to listen to, but overall I prefer fairyland and Sunrise. fated, has become a song I really do love. Maybe because I have come to accept the non-fierce songs by Ayu, and have come to love that genre in itself. It's nice to listen to in the rain, or when I am in the relaxing mood for Ayu ballads (Together When..., rainy day, untitled ~for her~, etc...) I think overtime crappier songs have been released so it makes me think "you know what, fated wasn't all that bad and I would take that over (insert other crappy song) anyday"

I actually accidentally discovered Ayu because of glitter's PV, but not because of the song or the PV...but I just really loved her hair.

I think glitter is a normal pop song and fated is a normal ballad...They don't really stand out to me, but they're not bad to listen to sometimes.

OMG... my friend (who was actually an ayu hater ) turned out to like her more after she watched glitter PV because her hair there is one of her best hairstyles..

fated will always be amazing. One of her best summer ballads ever, and one she hasn't managed to top imo.

glitter I don't care for as much as I did back then, but I still get the urge to listen to it at least once every summer. Also, I enjoyed it's inclusion in that medley in last year's (and this year's, apparently) a-nation.

glitter/fated was indeed a good solid single. I don't listen to glitter as much anymore (or fated.....or any of her songs pre-NEXT LEVEL for that matter, even though I love them more than her recent songs, strangely enough lol), but its still nice to listen to occasionally. I like all the glitter remixes better than the original, like the one on ayu-ro mix 4 and DJ Amaya's mix.

fated's still as epic as ever.....god that song gives me the goosebumps. Especially during and after the bridge. Wish she performed it more ):.

I used to dislike fated, then love the lyrics and now I'm in love with the melody. The song will always be an "okay" song, but I like the fact that she doesn't push it in every occasion (like she does with July 1st and whatnot)

glitter has got some nice lyrics and it does make me happy. It's fun I just never listen to it, but if it comes up with "suffle" I listen to it half way and then skip to the next

the pv is definitely a mess, but i liked both songs from the beginning.

fated is one of the best songs on GUILTY haha.
