About the weight thing, I find it very hard to believe it's an actual quote that "I make better music than them, because they're skinnier. " Really? Only thing I've ever heard her say about her weight, was that she did not want to force herself to lose weight; she likes herself and she likes eating. I can't even begin on how much respect I have for that.

We don't know her reasons for being on the cover of VOGUE. I could imagine, that the conditions for the shooting changed and she then accepted. Before she perhaps did not want anything to do with it, because of an unresolved issue with them. We don't know the details.
She said these things long before the Grammy Awards.

Spoiler:

Anywho, I don't like Adele's personality, from what I've seen. End of story. Feel free to think whatever you want about her.

I was annoyed by Adele's personality back before, but I actually started to understand when she's serious and when she's not. She's very honest and her words may sound offending if you think about it.

But the fact is Lady Gaga puts everything into image, her music doesnt follow it. She's saying about being unique and stuff, but we never hear that in music. Her music is just generic and rip off. I like Lady Gaga, I think she's talented but she doesnt show it (yet). Im still waiting for some song or an album that she will show everything she has cause I think she has a lot to show. I like Lady Gaga's personality so Id be glad to be her fan, but I cant enjoy the music lol.

I actually wanted to throw a comment about overweight pop star, I hate when people potray her as overweight, ugly, whatever when in reality she is not. She looks beautiful and I hate this double standard cause we have black female singer who are bigger than her and yet they are considered 'sexy'. Its so common and I dont want to get into it cause its racist lol, but towards white people. Britney is trashed every day for being fat when in reality she's average looking woman and she was never thin to begin with. Her body was always like a body of female football player (Lol). Ok, I think im done, the point is - she doesnt have anything to talk about in interviews except she's not posing naked (yet) and how she writes for herself.

I know she said she didn't want to be on the cover of Vogue. I've seen that img+ quote a few times before. What I'm saying is that no one knows for sure, any and all of her reasons for saying so back then. People and their opinions change, that does not make you fake.

And it's cool. I'm not trying to arrogantly try and change anybody's opinion, just sharing my thoughts.

^ lol yeah I like the cover for that too. I didn't mean to say that she's overweight, because in my eyes she's not, but to a lot of people who are in that world the image is everything. She's clearly comfortable in her skin, and she deserves to be. There's a lot of pressure from the media to fit in this mold like the rest of the pop stars and that's simply not Adele. I think that's what she was getting at.

Wow Im so over Adele's personality already lol

I dont agree with being overweight though. Im sorry. For health reasons. I really dont care about what image the media chooses to push.

I would never tell Adele she has to be skinny. But there is a difference between not fitting into a certain image, and just plain not taking care of yourself.

I'll always hope for her good health, and everyone elses anyway.

The thing I don't understand the most is, why is she acting/talking like she was morbidly obese? She isn't even THAT big and she is taking the roll like she was the fattest person ever

She decided to take the roll of being the "fat one" and feel proud about it, then she should stick to it at least for some time lol I mean, she looks stunning in that Vogue cover, but she doesn't look even a bit overweight to be bragging about feeling proud of being it

Now that she's going on a 5 year break or something, I bet she'll be back with a new skinny image and say, "I found my healthy-self" or some **** like that lol

And ffs, it should be about the music, as she says, she shouldn't even talk about her weight, end of story.

^ well, the fact that we're still talking about Adele's weight & her opinions makes it clear that it is important, lol.

tbh, i'm more pissed that Chris Brown still has a career. or that Taylor Swift only needs 1 more Grammy to tie with Madonna's total Grammy count.

Weight isnt just important for her, its important for everyone, and everyone can relate, therefore, people talk about it.

And like I said earlier, the Grammys are a joke. Crappy people are gonna win.

On the whole Chris Brown thing, I've never like him. He's always had the face of a smug little ****, and its pretty apparent that not only does he not care about what he did to Rihanna, probably because of the girls who are all "I'd let him hit me, he's so awesome" because people are just boosting his ego, that he hasn't learned his lesson. Not to mention I just plain don't like his music. Its just flashy lights, generic lyrics and Michael Jackson rip off dance moves. I doubt he's fully written a single song, and probably has the help of six people. He's a flash in the pan, not the next MJ. He got lucky with the Grammy, because there were no other "popular" acts in the line up, but him.

This is so true O_O Even at the Grammy Award show he was lip-syncing. At least part of it, anyway. I remember thinking "who does he think he's fooling??"

some media defended him saying that the awards are given because of the quality of music, not because of their personal life. I was in a second agree with that statement but hey, I also enjoy the music because of the person who sings that and also violence can't be accepted. this reminds me to the song by BEP Where is the love?

There was a statement from the Grammy saying that they were the victim of what happened 2 years ago. Seriously.

Chris Brown winning was probably part of the whole comeback shebang.

Plenty of artists smoke and drink, which is at least just as dangerous as being overweight. There's just more focus on the weight thing, because it's unusual for an artist not giving a crap about it.

Chris Brown shouldn't be anywhere near a stage D: He doesn't even seem to have a shred of talent in him. And don't get me started on the girls half-kidding about letting him beat them. I had a very turbulent childhood and watched my mom involved in some things like that. Even as a joke, that is just not funny
