BRILLANTE now, feelings?

One of her best (most recent) song I can think of. The way ayu empowers her voice, the lyrics, the instrumentals...I haven't been that in love with a ballad song since fated. Though it doesn't do much justice on FIVE and I honestly would have preferred it as a separate single (coupled with progress) or on Love Songs.

Sure it doesn't match up to her masterpieces like in Memorial Address or I am..., but just the overall ambiance and the meaning behind the song give me chills every time. I give many kudos to Timmy for composing an such epic ballad on his first try with ayu. If only his work on Party Queen was as equally epic....

I thought it was so weird when I first watched the PV but I kept watching it because it was so intriguing and now I love it so much. It's one of my fav ayu songs and I have the 10 minute version from the CD+DVD edition of FIVE that I listen to from beginning to end every time

still one of my top ayu songs sometimes I think it should've been released as a double a-side as Progress/BRILLANTE, because FIVE just seemed like a weird place to release it for me.

There's one part, after the chorus RIGHT BEFORE ayu starts the 2nd verse. The part where the music seems to collapse in on itself. That part in itself ruins the song from being perfect. Like a pimple on a model.
Other than that, the song is 'near perfection'

I still think so, but not as strongly.
The song tends to drag a bit, and Timmy's vocals are off putting.

There isn't, the BRILLANTE track on one of the versions of FIVE is 10 minutes long because it has a version of "Why.." with URATA instead of JUNO.
