So sad... All the tweets about divorce, all her fans always complaining etc It's a good decision by Ayu but at the same time it's sad.
In Ourselves "So I show myself only to you which no one in the world knows" Now is WARNING "Yes, you don't understand I don't show you, you don't know the real me" Well... She hasn't fans, she has gremlins.

Oh my, that is SO sad... Worst of all is this not the first time she gets hurts through twitter, but she still kept using it... This time it must have really make her feel down
And this was such a great way for fans oversea to connect with her, I will so miss trying to get a reply from her or checking her twitter (she was one of the few celebrities there that kept my interest). But if this is what takes for Ayu to fer better with all this messy situation, then may she feel so indeed :/

In all honesty these news made me sad and angry at the same time. If the reason behind this is the fact that some people sent negative tweets to her then what about all the positive tweets? What about our tweets that we kept sending to show our love and support even though we knew she stopped replying to fans a long time ago? Do these mean nothing? Name me one famous person who doesn't have haters or negative replies. It's part of fame, doesn't she know that? Then every single celebrity should stop using SNS because I'm pretty sure many of them have to deal with even worse situations online. Heck, maybe all of us should stop using FB, Twitter or even forums because there will always be people who won't agree with us or even be mean to us. Is this how it's supposed to be?
I don't know about you guys, but this decision kinda shows me that our support and love is not as important as some negative comments and that all we did all these years, our exchanges with her, were for nothing and are gone like they never happened. When she started using twitter it was so awesome...We would send her tweets and waited eagerly for a reply and even if it wasn't a reply to us, we were so excited to see her interacting with other fans. Then she stopped, because of some nasty comments all our sincere tries meant nothing. But at least she was tweeting so we were grateful for that because we love her and loved seeing her tweets on our TL. And now, it's all gone. Because apparently some nasty tweets mean more than the tons of positive ones. I don't know anymore guys...I'll continue support her and buy her releases because that's what fans do, but something changed in me...At least I managed to get 2 replies from her in the past (although they're deleted from my favorites now thx to all her tweets being gone but I had screenshots thankfully) but I feel sad for the people who wanted to experience the same thing and now their chance is gone. Unless you sent a mean tweet you're not noticed apparently... Sorry for the large post guys, I just had to share my thoughts with you all.

Meh i'm so sad, i felt really connected to her thanks to twitter, i never tweeted her and i don't understand japanese but somehow i liked checking it and seeing her pictures, it felt like she was closer to her fans more than any star could ever be. I hope she makes up for it by posting more entries in TA ):

Very weird stuff is happening. Especially since she was one of the most popular japanese people followed on twitter, no?

This is bizarre and making me feel very worried about her, would some negative tweets really be enough to upset her that much? I think it must be a combination of bad things...

If this is only related to the divorce rumours people made up from one of her tweets I can This is a personal thing and I can completely understand if she is sick of people assuming and sayin bad things about a personal thing.
Though right now we also only can assume what the real reason for this change is too. It is scary and really sad it had to come to this.. |

This is so sad to hear
Just my thoughts : I'm having feelings that her management / avex decided to take control before something bad could happen.. It's a move to avoid the social media drama after some of the posts that were made by Ayu (you know... something like zayn malik vs the entire one direction fandom). I'm pretty sure Ayu can handle those negative comments, but maybe her management couldn't. So keep sending her your love guys! and let's hope that there's another way fans can interact with her. |

No offense to anyone but she's hopeless. She brought this upon herself. When I post cryptic stuffs on social media my bf will scold me either them being too negative or offensive. My friends will PM me and ask and after a while people just grew tired because of it. I mean seriously she's had issues with relationships for awhile so posts like that will gained unwanted attention. And by doing all these deleting things and not posting is just making it worse and dramatic. Ever since she divorce and went out with Maro her credibility fades little by little. I still love her as a performer. Nowadays I just hope she releases good music, good promotional images and PVs.
If there's anything we haven't already learnt from social media: nobody wanna see your negativity all the time. Last edited by se7entheaven; 26th October 2015 at 01:06 PM. |

In my opinion it's not a bad decision... honestly I made an account back in 2010 when Ayu started to use it and I loved to see what she shared with us but to me she used twitter too freely for a celebrity of her level and several time she had controversies with her twitter account ... there are lot of celebrities which don't use social networks by themself ! Therefore they are maintained away from hater, spammer and crazy fans ... maybe only share some pics of her and things about her music is the best choice ...she shouldn't feel the need to share more about her personal life !! Yes it's sad but it's for better imo

Even if I don't understand Japanese when I saw the #byebyemylove I already assumed and I was like "oh please not again". She could've just written "bye love, see you soon". Oh well whatever.

^ When i saw the "bye bye my love" i just thought it was new lyrics and didn't think about her personal life at all, i was happy seeing a photo of ayu and her husband holding hands and that was it, some ppl just tend to take everything too serious smh

why could some fans/haters think negatively about her personal life like that? can fans/haters just assume that she's just happy with her life right now? ![]() ![]() it makes me sad that we won't be seeing her post some silly pics anymore

I sort of understand her move. I mean, how would you feel if after all the drama that happened you finally settled with the person you love and you're happy with and then you just post (PROBABLY) new song's lyrics and you get flooded with hundreds or thousands of messages from people asking if you're divorcing??
It's easy to say to ignore haters but in reality there are few who can really do it. For some getting one hate is hurtful and now imagine you get thousands of it every day. And just because there are celebrities who can handle that doesn't mean Ayu has to. Just because she's known doesn't mean she can't get hurt. You can be upset that by going off twitter Ayu ignored not only haters but fans too, but let me tell you, she knows you still support her. She wouldn't be releasing new stuff and touring if she didn't care about her fans. Also she still wants to meet us in HK, so... Of course I'm sad and angry that because of f*cking haters I lost the only way to get a reply from Ayu... But if that's better for her then be it.

Honestly, if you're sick of twitter, just give it over to your stuff and tweet a little message announcing this. I mean, some idiots insulted her. What's the damn fucking problem? Block them and that's it. How can someone create so much drama over something? If you want to share the most personal details of your everyday life via twitter be perpared people are talking about it and criticizing it. And honestly, just some idiots insulting you isn't the end of the world. Just last week a guy at facebook insulted me in a very mean way just because he didn't liked my comment. So what? Do I care? No. Do I delet all my fb comments and change my profile pic to "I hate you"? No. I mean, there are a lot of people buying her releases and going to her tours. People must like her in one way or another. If she's too sensetive after more than 15 years in the buisness to handle those tweets, well that's ok. Then it's the right decision to give that personal twitter up. But please without all this drama. Last edited by Chibi-Chan; 26th October 2015 at 02:00 PM. |

This isn't the first time Ayu's pulled this. I've heard others mentioning she shut down the TA forums because of the negativity. I've seen other celebrities block users and even take themselves off of social media because of the negativity. Do I agree with this? No. Being in the industry means there's going to be negativity. I'm sure Ayu didn't mean for her positive tweet to be cryptic, but it was. Instead of doing what she's doing, she could've actually been more open about her life with her husband and said "I'm not getting a divorce, stop that nonsense". Granted she did kind of say that, but in subtweet form.
Anyways, this didn't have to happen, but it did. It does suck, but who knows, maybe she'll be more involved with TA.
