and she said "of course even i always cry for some little silly things"

I think that some of it is real and other times it's fake. I guess it just doesn't feel honest sometimes *shrugs*

I agree. This topic is really trite.

And Ayumi_no_Yume... I have read all of her lyrics. I really get a high sense of emotion when I read them. Nevertheless, I think it's pretentious that she cries so often.

If anything I think that is one of her most emotionally real performances ever. The subject matter of the song is just too painful for it to not be emotional. If even I get choked up while reading the lyrics I can only imagine how sad Ayu gets when she is performing them.

Sometimes I feel that she acts really realistically. If so, that's because she wanted to be an actress in the first place isn't it?

I'm pretty sure it's real when she cries. I mean, it's got to have something to do with her lyrics or thinking about working hard for the wHOLE year and now pulling it off in the end, the very last concert for that tour and such. She kinda wanted to cry at the end of the COUNTDOWN LIVE 04-05 when she was singing winding road. We're not sure how much stress she goes through for every song, every single and every album, so.. i think when she cries, it's real

i thought so too. besides i dont think she would let her crying ruin her singing because her voice changed a little. I think that although its not bad to cry you want to hurry up and stop crying as soon as possible if it wasn't staged because i think that real crying does mess up your singing.

i do think though that sometimes when she skips lyrics or like in hanabi when she lipsyched to cry, thats definitly fake, or in PVs, but if its a live concert and its a truly emotional song, especially like Memorial Address being about her grandma and all, i think its real

Nah.. not real. Well not always anyhow. She's an actress apart from a singer and really knows how to pull off emotion into a song.

Real. She gives me the feeling that she's really emotional. It's almost like a trademark that she will cry at every end of every concert live. Hmm fake cry just to show that she's sentimental? Oh man that's really a cheap idea >.< unless she's trying to do drama & singing together like for Happy Ending. I mean I don't get what she'll benefit by faking cry and pretending to be sentimental?

wow, you took that one wrong

we didn't say she cries over her lyrics, well at least didn't... Think about it. If you wrote a song for someone... or something that was... how do I word this... that meant alot to you

ie: someone leaving you (dying) or someone being your rock when you're weak...

When you sang the song you wouldn't think of the lyrics to say so... you would think of that person... like Walking proud is about someone she admires... What if that person is dead? This could cause you to get emotional... Or thinking of howmuch this person has supported you... crying for certain songs more than others makes sense... some songs mean more to her than others... and it doesn't have to be the ones she released as singles... heck, even 'our' favorite songs of hers may not be her favorites.

As for crying at the end of a tour... that perfectly normal! I cry at my last performances... it's lke the culmination of your hard work has paid off but now it's over. You've worked sooo hard to bring it to this point and now there's a mixture of emotions... happy - that maybe it's over or that you've done so well, sadness - that you must leave all you've worked with, or that you will never perform this show again.

And girls crying? Yeah we do cry sometimes for no reason.. but the reason we do that is for a reason lol... when it's a certain time of a month our hormones get a little wacky and small things can make you emotional... but I don't thnk this has anything to do with Ayu's crying... I think hers is more directly tied to the song and it's experiences...
