To me, "Greatful" isn't strange. As we all know, Ayu's always good at sharing her very own mood through her songs. To me "Greatful" would just mean she's grateful for all the "great" things that occured to her life.
It can't be a spelling mistake as it would have been noticed right beforehand, Ayu will sure have her own explanation any time soon.

Bye mates

Hmm....... I could've sworn greatful is a word, I know I've heard people use it before. By the way, do you know who names Ayumi songs? Does she do it herself? A lot of the song titles have like nothing to do with the song... Hahaha. Thanks for transliterations !! Can someone do this in english now?

I could read most of it except unknown kanji and words I didn't know.. One thing is that I see for a lot of people is the use of "ha" after words.. The hiragana for "ha" is used for the particle "wa" so if you have "taiyou ha" it is actually "taiyou wa". Just so everyone knows, hiragana "ha" for "wa" is only used after words, not as the beginning of the word(it'll be "ha" then).

i think youre thinking of "grateful" like "im grateful you did this for me". greatful isnt a word. its Ayu's word.

Hie ppl!

On the contary, I think "greatful" is a deliberate attempt by ayu to express her emotions...notice there are a lot of joys in her song? Are there any translations out there btw..?

thanks a zillion for the romanji!!! :> oh btw i think it's takara mono...coz' RAINBOW she used that, TO BE she used that too...and takara mono is like, very sweet! When I look at that I'll think of "dakara mono", which means that the thing is as a result of the action, which gives this happy feeling, just like "takara mono"^^

takaramono means treasure.
I think she knows that "greatful" isn't a true word. Ayu means in like she's greatful for the days that brang her happiness. So, instead of writing a long title, she just wrote greatful days.

Greatful is most probably a contraction (is that the right word???) of two words, Great and Grateful. Like Ayu contracted Love and Appears, thus LOVEppears. I like this contraction better though.

It's got style.

A reminder of Fly High? Damn.

I'm 100% sure Fly High is better than Greatful Days. I think the preview is crap. It sounds like a kid's song. Seriously. If you don't believe me donload this

- some songs by K3
- The Cheeky Song by The Cheeky Girls

My sister listens to that.

But hey it's just a preview. I got high hopes.

Hehe, it's not a matter of bad taste, just a matter of taste in general. I didn't like the preview, you did. End of story.
