AWESOME! *siiigh* this is what i've been waiting for... for such a long time! finally it's back... but there still isn't an Acoustic Orchestra/Classical Version? and also... now my missing-mi-x 6 thing seems a bit obsolete T__T. i cry tears that are bittersweet haha.

Yay new remix album! This should be interesting. We haven't seen one of these in awhile

I'm not crazy about a second color coordinating... thing, but not a horrible idea.

GOLD, to me, looks like it'll be happier songs (the WHITE) and SILVER, due to its softer color(?), seems like it'll be the ballad (aka the BLACK).

If this is the case, then what I don't understand is why HAPPY ENDING would be on GOLD. Isn't it a very sad (almost depressing) kind of song? I mean, "A happy ending never suits me." And even though optimistic ballads such as JEWEL and part of Me are on SILVER, they're ballads, right?

*is slightly confused and hopes she made sense*

^_^;;

Either way, I've very excited about these! I don't own any remix albums; maybe these'll be my first(s)! (Of course I'm not preordering, though. )

I don't get it either. Perhaps it's not based on the lyrics, but how the song is remixed. The remixer of HAPPY ENDING is dub/reggae, and that kind of music tends to sound more uplifting than depressing.

I don't mind the GOLD/SILVER idea, but if the covers are uninspired.. (i.e Ayu facial close up with gold and silver colors) it'll completely kill the idea.

But I'm surprisingly excited for this remix album. THE YOUNG PUNX! are amaaazing!

to my understanding those two remixes are just for cellphones, and aren't really up to CD-quality songs. I'm glad they aren't on the album

SOUL CENTRAL was one of the remixes on Uta-box.

I think they chose mostly songs that had PVs for this compilation [+HAPPY ENDING] XD~ which is probably why It was got gypped.

I've always liked the remix cover arts...
hmmm let see...
ayu-mi-x: big head shot
ayu-mi-x II: zoom out head shot
ayu-mi-x III: big head shot again
ayu-mi-x IV: full body shot
ayu-mi-x V: big head shot

my speculation for the G&L covers are most likely..
fully body shot?

fortunately they are really investing in some quality remixers again.

Ayu-Mi-X III was the last one with really top producers. Ayu-Mi-X IV was alright too, but only like fraction of that album was new anyways. Ayu-Mi-X V had some serious problems, Avex's own Dub remixed literally third of the album just by himself. there were some good producers like RAM RIDER & DJ Remo-con involved but overall the Ayu-Mi-X V is just lacking & definitely the low point of the series.

Ayu-Ro-Mixes are done by SUPER EUROBEAT, Avex's own label. they're probably the cheapest remix album to produce. new Ayu-ro-mix would be so fun tho.
Ayu-ro-mix series is the best selling of all of these remix album series, hopefully they have a new one in it works but they are saving it for a later remix, you'll never know. plenty of people thought we'd never see new ayu-mi-xes either

It's promising. I hope the sales, whatever they end up being, will be good enough that Avex will consider the release of new remix albums a good decision.

I'd love to be wrong about there not being another Ayu-ro-mix.

I'm especially looking forward to the Daishi Dance remix of Heaven.

I saw him perform at the release event of his latest CD last weekend and really enjoyed his music, so if his mix is anything like the stuff he is currently doing, it should be great!

10.Beautiful Fighters (MSTRKRFT remix)

^Something tells me that one will suck.. Their remixes are mediocre imo. They have an ok beat but drag out and lack a climax

i noticed there's a slight difference in price compared between yesasia and cdjapan.. i have never ordered from cdjapan before... cdjapan is just relatively cheaper.. right? no difference in anything else whatsoever? no early bird special for both.
