I've always liked the remix cover arts...
hmmm let see...
ayu-mi-x: big head shot
ayu-mi-x II: zoom out head shot
ayu-mi-x III: big head shot again
ayu-mi-x IV: full body shot
ayu-mi-x V: big head shot

my speculation for the G&L covers are most likely..
fully body shot?

Hikki should try and do something like that . She needs remixes.
Yep! I can't wait for the covers. That's what I'm most excited for. I hope it's hip-hop themed. Ayu looks so cute when she tries to look thugish. XD

-off topic as well-

I know! Hikki has a lot of remixed songs that so good. I'm a fan of her Fly Me to the Moon remixes. Eeee! I luv all of her remixes though. Sometimes I wish EMI would be like AVEX. I don't think I'll ever shut up if Hikki releases a remix album.

since the 2 albums are going to be different in colour schemes, i think it's gonna be something like A BEST 2.

I'm especially looking forward to the Daishi Dance remix of Heaven.

I saw him perform at the release event of his latest CD last weekend and really enjoyed his music, so if his mix is anything like the stuff he is currently doing, it should be great!

according to wiki, "The album had little promotion and failed to chart, debuting at a poor 83rd place on the Oricon charts. In its first week of sales only 2,662 copies were sold. In the second week, only 894 copies were sold and the album slipped to 240th place on the charts."

it was released on march 29th, 2006....which is strange, becuz this is also a march release haha

oh and also, AMIx World used a bunch of hugely famous and well known remixers that were well known not only in japan, but europe and usa too. however, we also have to remember that ami is not nearly as popular as she was in the late 90's...haha, and also, the remix album had like, a bajillion remixes of the same song, off of an album that didnt even have a big amount of sales. it was really just a bad idea *shrug* i like ami, too. but i think the remixes are awful :X

10.Beautiful Fighters (MSTRKRFT remix)

^Something tells me that one will suck.. Their remixes are mediocre imo. They have an ok beat but drag out and lack a climax

How unfortunate considering I can't stand HOUSE! My House hate continues to grow more and more each day as I watch the beautiful trance slip away... I used to get a lot of good dance/trance tunes by watching the "Dance" channel on my Digital Cable Music Choice station but everything is HOUSE now and I just feel like I'm living in the 70's or some crap. It's too funky and too disco-y. Anyways, I am looking forward to these CDs I can tell you that. Hopefully the house mixes will be like the HEAVEN one on her B&D/PRIDE single which was one good house remix out of a million terrible ones.

btw tnx for the news =3!
to my understanding those two remixes are just for cellphones, and aren't really up to CD-quality songs. I'm glad they aren't on the album

SOUL CENTRAL was one of the remixes on Uta-box.

I think they chose mostly songs that had PVs for this compilation [+HAPPY ENDING] XD~ which is probably why It was got gypped.

fortunately they are really investing in some quality remixers again.

Ayu-Mi-X III was the last one with really top producers. Ayu-Mi-X IV was alright too, but only like fraction of that album was new anyways. Ayu-Mi-X V had some serious problems, Avex's own Dub remixed literally third of the album just by himself. there were some good producers like RAM RIDER & DJ Remo-con involved but overall the Ayu-Mi-X V is just lacking & definitely the low point of the series.

Ayu-Ro-Mixes are done by SUPER EUROBEAT, Avex's own label. they're probably the cheapest remix album to produce. new Ayu-ro-mix would be so fun tho.
Ayu-ro-mix series is the best selling of all of these remix album series, hopefully they have a new one in it works but they are saving it for a later remix, you'll never know. plenty of people thought we'd never see new ayu-mi-xes either

It's promising. I hope the sales, whatever they end up being, will be good enough that Avex will consider the release of new remix albums a good decision.

I'd love to be wrong about there not being another Ayu-ro-mix.

I wish she would release Ayu-ro mix 4 and Ayu trance 4, but it's okay if she doesn't do that. At least I'm glad that a remix album is coming, because I love all of the remix albums she has released so far, and I'm into trance and eurobeat music, but I also love those ayu-mi-xes.

I believe she will have really pretty covers. I hope for some gold for GOLD version, and something silver for SILVER version. When I saw this dream, ayu-mi-x 6's cover was icy blue and there was no Ayu anywhere. It was like there was only ice there, and "ayu-mi-x 6" was written on the lower part of the cover. It looked pretty beautiful, but i hope it will have Ayu on the cover though, because I liked those other covers. Though ayu-mi-x 5's cover isn't one of my favourities. I like ayu-mi-x 4 covers the best, especially non-stop megamix. :>

Um, what kind of music is GAY HOUSE? :3 I live in Finland, which is actually next to Sweden on the map, but I haven't ever heard of a genre called GAY HOUSE. Not that it bothers me, that just sound pretty unique to me.

So many time she doesnt release a remix album!

Thanks God. No Jonathan Peters or D.M.X. remixes anymore in these 2 albums. Personally I found their last remixes in Ayu-mi-x 4 and 5 are not good.

the GAYS clubs have a special kind of genre and mixes for the dancefloor... (they "usually" don't use trance or progressive styles)
they use a trival, deep drumps, dance, pop & house mix, Stonebridge is very famous into gay clubs, the same thing with Thunderpuss and victor calderone in the 90s..in fact these djs always are part of the gay parades
GAYHOUSE is not a official genre ..but is a mix of all that things...and popular in all the AMERICAN GAY clubs, from Canada to Argentina

i was DJ 6 years ago, only into gay club.

i noticed there's a slight difference in price compared between yesasia and cdjapan.. i have never ordered from cdjapan before... cdjapan is just relatively cheaper.. right? no difference in anything else whatsoever? no early bird special for both.
