I like the idea of making it like a sequel to 2003, but as mentioned, the look on her face is just too "frozen" and very "posey/fake".

I actually like the comparison..it really shows how Ayu has aged, how her style has changed, just through the subtle differences like posing and what make-up they used..

Lazy? You could call it that..I'd call it more taking a risk, since a lot of people will be unsure of buying it because of the similar cover to 2003. I think the Leslie Kee nod is really sweet if I'm honest. I've wondered before what differences there would be if she "re-shot" old photoshoots...now there's definitely more of an empathsis on the doll-like looks, the big eyes and pout. I find it interesting that people are commenting that she looks more plastic and fake, because her pose is really fashionable right now.. Just look through magazines and look at other singers and/or idols, such as Kana Nishino. Ayu, her team, her photographers, are just following the trend and what's fashionable. I think it's a turning point and has been for a while, since Ayu hasn't been a trendsetter for a few years now. (Not incredibly so, anyway)

I think it's a nice concept. Feels like a celebration of a nice friendship/partnership between Ayu and Leslie.

She does look very doll-like and picture perfect to the point of her looking very bored and her poses look sort of "forced", but I guess that's just Ayu's modeling for you.
