And I don't think anyone is suprised by showing Ayu drinking - she is 26 after all. If someone is suprised or shocked by it, I think they are very naive.

LOL, Ayumi has repeatedly mentioned that she loves drinking.

I really LOVE this concert. I am always impressed with her Arena Tours, because they are usually visually amazing. This definately did not disappoint either. The opening was sorta creepy but cool, and Happy Ending definately has a higher rating in my books because of that preformance. Inspire = the best preformance in the whole concert, imo. I always go back to it, because the visuals are so good. Love love LOVE this preformance. Game + My Name's WOMEN were both also amazing. Too bad they didn't have the TRF girls come back to do the dancing for that too... I really liked this concert, and i was impressed that the "wtf" costumes were kept to a minimal. I hated the About You outfit, and the walking proud outfit. CAROLS was a bit wtf too, but it's ok after a while All in all, this was a really really good concert. <3

I remember with smoking discussion threads people would say things about how many people light up while drinking and some people replied in outrage at the mention that Ayumi just might be human and go out and enjoy herself once in a while to some tipple. That's pretty much the only reason I mentioned that, people are silly~

With the screncap I was just curious since I know the older generations in Japan don't approve much of public affection so even hand-holding was even looked down upon by some, was wondering if it was just a good acquaintance or the ever-rumored boyfriend. It was amusing though with the extra clips when she kept saying the wrong name for one of her dancers and hugged him in apology backstage.

all the performances were great but when i watch it again, there's just too much acting in it

Happy Ending was such a great performance except when Ayu forced herself to soak up in the end...but i believe walking proud was real

About you was great performance was awesome but her 2 dancers overreacted a bit, the way they acted was just annoying~

I haven't watch the whole thing but based on pics and comments, I am really certain that the visuals must be great. I downloaded the mp3 rips from the live and I gotta admit some songs are pretty poorly sung like About You, verses of Game, walking proud (which is kind of disappointing because I was really looking forward to hearing these lives), moments sounded a little weird at certain parts.

Other than that, I thought certain songs were pretty well sung like happy ending, my name's woman, humming 7/4 and step you. Oh yeah and boys and girls just sounded so fun with half the lyrics sung by fans XDDD

Yeah, on the DVD the overacting can get annoying. But you have to keep in mind that for a live audience they have to overact since people can't see their expressions up close.

Such a great show! By far better than 03-04, but in my opinion not as good as A MUSEUM. But the performances were so spectacular. I agree that it was the best Boys & Girls ever (you could actually hear the audience really well this time) and an incredible GAME and my name's WOMEN and INSPIRE and HONEY. I really like the chains in About You, it reminded me of the PV. And I was pretty disappointed by STEP you, I expected a lot more. The fountains were so beautiful, I was totally expecting it but still went, "WOOOW" when I saw it.
The MC was fun, showing Ayu falling during the last tour. LOL!
The third DVD is really funny. I thought the drinking was hilarious.
And where was Shingo the keyboard guy?? He was there drinking with all of them, but he wasn't in the concert, instead was a different guy with Yu-gi-oh hair! I really like Shingo...
But SUCH A GOOD SHOW!! I really wish I could have seen it live.

Well I didnīt see the A MUSEUM thing so....
This is the best.....
I mean.... the opening is the quite thing that made me download the all thing.
For the firsts time i listended to Ayu with a perfect voice (the only time this happened too was on MARIA, the only song from A MUSEUM i saw)
All the efects were pretty cool.... the water and stuff;
But... ergh, she didnīt have to try crying so hard.... in the end... i mean.
Thereīs some songs iīd like to have seen.... but... Avex didnīt listen to me... lol

The crying at the end of Arena Tour 2005 seemed a bit fake. I'm sure she wasn't, but I mean... she's really broken down on stage (best example I can think of is at the end of Concert Tour 2000 Vol. 2). But it was still emotional. Seeing Ayu cry always makes me cry too.
Does anyone else cry when they see these concerts? Especially in Arena Tour 2005? I always feel kind of bad when I'm showing concerts to my friends and I'm crying

I saw Ayu's Arena Tour a few days ago and I thought I'd post what I thought.

I finished watching Ayumi's Arena Tour 2005 a few days ago just the first disc though. I really loved the intro's to inspire, game, and carols. I loved the Intro for teh concert too, very beautiful. Her performances were really good, especially Moments. I loved when they all waved their fans on each side of Ayu and the screen porjected it going back, and it made Ayu look as if she had wings. I loved it! I can't wait to watch the second disc.
