(3/27/2003) Alan Tam Wing Lun and Hacken Lee Hark Kun's April 4 concert has cancelled the handshake portion of the show. Fans have been asked to bring their own medical mask. Meanwhile, Alan's criticism of Ayumi Hamasaki (Bun Kei Bo) being off key has led to her label avex to ask Alan to see her perform in Japan when he has a chance. Alan said, "First, I am not attacking anyone out of ill will. I only want to express how an experienced singer feels. That day I was in close proximity to hear her sing. She is off key. If anyone is suspicious, they can look at the China Japan Exchange program and ask an expert. I am only targetting the matter and not the person. I also feel that many idols today have a lot of problems with their singing, which led me to talk about the phenomena."

*very pissed ayu fan* but alan tam has no ****ing right to say that about ayumi. who the h*ll does that ******* think he is anyway?? .. uhh how the heck is he expressing how an experienced singer feels for?? how idoitic is he anyway? we should just eliminate the b*stard off the face of the earth!! everyone's gonna hate his lousy a*s when he goes to japan. if he ever does. or if sars takes him    he's totally off key. he's broke, lousy, wants publicity, pathetic, no wife, bankruped butthead! you can't except the singer to sing perfectly like how they originally recorded it. even if ayumi has problems singing in her concert, she can work on it. i'll be happy to even see her in concert! many idols today have a problem with their singing? he's got a problem with his ****ing mouth! he needs to keep it SHUT, and he needs to keep it SHUT PERMANETLY, or else, i'm gonna staple, glue, sew, hole punch, and put a huge glob of wasabi sauce in his mouth!  and maybe i'll put a 10 ton rock on him, from the great wall of china, and make him say,"AYUMI IS THE BEST, and her voice is awesome!!"  he needs to shut his friggin trap, or i'll do it for him!

This Alan guy should be embarrassed that he is trying to bash someone's fame just to be heard. Hey, if he had any fame when he was young and it faded, oh well. He just doesn't see how many people are pointing and laughing at him.

he's too old to be good looking anymore.. he's all wrinkly and bald.. almost bald, i could see. hehe. he ASSumes too much outta people. lol, .. yeah. let's kick his arse or something, cos this is all making me want to puke my butt out.he's making fun of ayumi, because he can't get anymore fame himself, and a lot of ayumi fans are hating him for the most obvious reasons..

haha the problem is really not with him! hahahha I think he has the right to express what he thinks about Ayu if he doesn't like her. If he thinks she's off key we won't be able to change that. I don't really see why you get pissed with him? It's his opinion. Unless any of you doubt Ayu too and his words kinda of touch you....For me his words have no meaning so I won't even lose my nerves calling him names or something. Just forget about this guy. hahaha
Haven't you tried to think that by calling him names and saying this and that about him you're all being to him exactly what he's being like to Ayu? hahahah

I agree with Impact. Why doesn't Avex drop it already? Even we fans have all stated that Ayu's vocal performance is not always perfect. It's very likely that the one Alan Tam saw was not her best. Why don't they just let it slide? That would be the mature thing to do imo. I don't understand why they keep chasing after the matter. Tam is fully entitled to think what he wants. Even if Tam watches another Ayu performance, I don't see this changing his opinion of her. He'll probably just verify his earlier statement. I don't see a conversion happening here.
