Leah isn't an amazing vocalist or anything, but her voice doesn't hurt my ears, she's just not beyond average... and I think her skills will definately improve in time, even if it takes a while. I mean, Ayu's voice sounded squeaky in ASFXX and LOVEppears, and then choppy in Duty and I am... so I don't expect Leah to sound 1000x better after just one album.

I think maybe the problem is more that people don't sympathize with her/her image, not that they don't like her music... like, maybe she's not "cute" enough for the men, but at the same time not "feminist" enough for the girls (a la Kumi)? I dunno. Or maybe the problem is just marketing/promotion? How was the promotion for Vanilla?

I don't remember any live performance scheduled for the song despite guest appearances on T.V. shows [a la Cartoon KAT-TUN and J-Melo]
She did serve ice cream to promote the single and that's the most I can think of...

hahaha, that's definitely an interesting tactic, selling ice cream. And I like how the whole sweet and delicious theme - selling the ice cream, lead song called Vanilla, B-side called LOVE SWEET CANDY, it just works

Also, I thought I should mention that Victor gave us a pretty skimpy Vanilla Making Of...the one for Love Paradox was much better...

@you: well, I'm a bit confused on that. I know they said a cat sticker but my stickers don't have a cat on them 0_0 There are like some stickers with pics of her, her name, I love L.D. but no cat...you can take a look at the JPM forums under the Leah Dizon thread page 57, post number 2 to see what I'm talking about. I'm pretty sure this is the sticker page mentioned with purchase

Ohh those stickers look so cute! The only plus side of Vanilla not selling so well is that the first press will be on yesasia for a long time...(which I need to get!)
