New album out by Christmas!

SO! Christmas is on a Saturday this year, the Wednesday of that week is 12/22/2010! If that's the latest date, Ayu could announce the album either late October/early November and have time to do MASSIVE promotion, have a MASSIVE CDL set list, perform an album track at Kouhaku (or Virgin Road)(?).... Does it fall on a double week? If so we might have massive sales this time around... nothing too groundbreaking but maybe it'll do a little better than RnRC with more promotion? MAYBE AYU COULD DO A PUBLIC APPEARANCE FOR CHRISTMAS AND GET MASSIVE WEEKEND SALES?!?!?!?!?!

Has any big artist already announced an album release on that date? If not, she can seal that spot . Personally I dun want another 01.01 album. First it's not a good date to release album anymore, and by that time x'mas is already gone. But oh well even if the new album is gonna be released on 12.22, I will not be able to get the album before x'mas anywayz. I dunno the x'mas mail deadline in Japan, but it must be around early Dec. It will take forever to mail to Canada .

But I still want the album no matter what...

Yay! This will make the build-up to Christmas more exciting! I really hope it includes a winter ballad. I know we have so many ballads everyone is saying but I want another winter ballad. A good one. But that means soon I'll have to refrain from AHS to avoid tracklist/photos/too much information. Or I'll just turn off images like I normally do.

I don't remember there being anyone HUGE on that day, singles OR album-wise, when I was paging through the CDJapan December release list. :X

She's been working on it since around September...

It's a dumb excuse since she probably spent less time crafting I am... or something and people love that album. It's like not even a factor when it comes to the quality of Ayu's albums, people are just making excuses and putting Ayu at fault if they don't like an album.

I just send her a message through TeamAyu about the idea of making a CD signing session at a megastore in Shibuya (Tsutaya, 109 or Tower Records), it sounds quite impossible but it would give a lot of promotion, it would be awesome!!!

Actually, hasn't she said she's been writing songs for the album since before September? I could have sworn she posted a blog entry about it quite a while ago.

Definitely, some of her earlier stuff that she's most famous for even today and that a ton of people worship was made in an extreme hurry + she had a busier schedule back then. With ayu, taking her time doesn't equal epic music. Some people are their most brilliant when under pressure.

^True. The time she spent on an album is not directly proportional to the quality. She used to release albums in less than a year anywayz.

I am... --> RAINBOW (less than a year)
