Mmm. I think she should keep going doing the thigns shes been doing, its been going great, me thinks. Her latest singles have been her absolute best for her ENTIRE CAREER, me thinks.

Keep Tryin' didn't exactly allude to previous PVs.. o-o

Ringo no Uta was the only one that was directly doing that.

As for Startin' being a rock song.. it all depends on what you think. I think its a fusion of techno and rock.. with a lot of .. weird stuff xD

Really? There were a lot of references to her previous PVs though. They weren't as obvious as Ringo no Uta, but there are lot of little details from other videos. I read somewhere that Hikaru's regular PV director left, so he wanted to put in references to the previous PVs he made.

But I agree Ringo no Uta referred to Shiina's past work in a more direct way.
