While I'm not super fond of Namie's addition to the song, the fact that it happened ended up with it being mentioned here, which reminded me of TLC even existing. I hadn't listened to them in over a decade and a half and had forgotten about the group altogether. However, this led to me buying a few albums of theirs the other day, so to all those people complaining, "You're *******ing welcome."

I can't argue with that.
And I don't give a damn what anyone says, hearing her sing "LMLYG" makes me cringe. I have no qualms with her singing in English otherwise.

But like Namie said, from here on out she wants to continue to challenge herself in the hopes improving herself. And contrary to popular belief, she actually does listen to feedback (from Japanese fans of course). So I'll cut her some slack.

Apparently her Japanese fans had no problem with her singing in English on "Uncontrolled" and enjoy her recent offerings.

I caved in and bought the CD/DVD edition.
That cover IS me. (I say **** i never should and namie is giving me life with those dead eyes) Namie is doing EVERYTHING RIGHT this time!

I wanna rank her higher in my tier, but she isnt 2nd tier yet. I'll give her her own tier because she's just doing everything for me lately.

Oh and can I ask about the quality of the DVD? Since it's all shot in HD, will the DVD be better off this time? I know its mainly for blu ray, but still.

Being shot in HD just means they filmed it with cameras of bluray 1080p resolution, they still shrink it down to 480p or 540p standard definition for DVDs.

^I doubt it is. Probably just promotion for the album is all. There's no more updates on her Facebook or Twitter about it yet, so they're probably still working on it.

About the American media, they're such *******s towards practically everyone. TBH, I'm super surprised that they haven't also angered people like PSY & Jackie Chan as well making these type of racist comments. PSY's become huge lately, and JC's been a huge movie actor for the past couple decades. Both of them speak English rather well, but even I notice errors in their English. Also wondering if Namie or avex will ignore it or do something about it.

maybe you are deaf. LMLYG has one of her best vocals. Tough, I rather have japanese songs. I can see her point of making western music with western lyrics, but it would also be a feat to bring both, japanese language and western music together to make amazing tracks and not just amazing tracks which are sold on every street corner in the USA

I don't mean deaf as in vocal-wise. I mean, her pronunciation is similar to how a deaf person pronounces words. Ayu has that problem as well, only much more so (For example, in LOVE'n'HATE when she says 'zero' as "jjero" I can't help but cringe). English phrases in songs here and there are fine but Namie is taking it to an extreme this time around.

It's no supplies that her Engrish rearry bothers some people.
I think it's at the point where her ****** English is her charm.

On a serious note, Japanese does have some of the sounds with which Ayu and namie are flopping. I guess they sing how they want, sing how they like even though they may come across as deaf. Ayu's half deaf though, so it's ok I guess.
