As you can see, it's a song-to-song thing with me. Sometimes Ayumi goes up, sometimes she goes way down. And I'm sure most of the people who seem like total "haters" since the 'B.A.D' PV like plenty of Ayumi's good music...

Just because someone hates one song, doesn't mean they completely hate Ayu. ...

I'm the same, it's song-to-song thing with me. Certain songs this year I loved, others I definitely did not, however, I don't hate Ayu just because she brought out a few songs this year that I didn't care for. If I really don't like something, I will express it, which does not make me a complainer. If someone doesn't like a song they should be able to express that, otherwise this place would end up like another forum I go to - where you can't express a proper criticism without being jumped on and being told you're not a real fan or that you're just giving up because you don't like one song... it's awful when places become like that and I wouldn't like AHS to become like that. Some people just overreact to every little negative comment and don't look at the comments objectively and see the difference between someone who just doesn't like a song and someone who is not happy with anything - to them there is no difference, they should try to be a bit more objective and not attack anyone without understanding what they're saying first.

Yes, if it is at that level then yes. You know, when you just don't like one song and kind of go on with it. But then what happens when someone just doesn't like ANYTHING recent that Ayu puts out? It's like 'Oh this single sucks. That album did too. And all those singles after.' Doesn't that make you the least bit curious? :\

why does everybody hate songs that arent about love or feelings? songs can eb about anything. Audience, or Bold and Delicious were awesome... there are too many lovey dovey songs...there needs to be more Bold and Delicious style songs.

i don't think ayu is going downhill... she's grown up now...not 19 anymore... her ideals and views have matured... what she writes will reflect that

i also don't see why music has to be "deep" all the time...we aren't serious 24/7 and since music is a reflection of our moods then i don't see a problem w/silly songs like "audience" because those songs are there to cheer us up ^__^ (it has cheered me up in the past cause it's upbeat and fun to sing along to!)

It would be fun for her to only make music her fans like instead of music she likes. In mean, the woman can't please everybody. She has a life to you know.
I don't feel i have to accept it just because Ayu worked on it. I don't think its logical to say you like a song based on the fact someone worked hard on it. You either like it or you don't. More effort doesn't mean better music.

I think you're all generalizing the whole "the song must have deep meaning"

for one. most of you don't understand a lick of Japanese and don't listen to it knowing what she's saying. (unless you're sitting infront of your computer reading the translation while the song is playing .... save your soul).

two. i couldn't care less about the words and the extreme depth unless i actually look into the song because i liked it based on the melody.

if something sounds bad (ie Bold & Delicious) it's bad to me. People can't seem to handle someone not liking what they like and immediately label it as not being a fan or not being a nice person.

Ye-a, I'll be a 1st "BAD GIRL"!

Yes, I'm no longer satisfied with Ayumi now, because I don't like her new staff and style, also I don't like the politics of releasing new material.

Still, I love her, no matter what, and I am a big fan...
