Ummm... If the estimation is true for Kinki Kids, 4 hot wave won't sell more than 220, at least if they keep staying in number one for one at least two more days.

Isen't BB the highest selling female solo single thus far this year? And it's barely in the top 20? Sad fact.

No, it's still 'Koi no Tsubomi' with 262k.

Female singers didn't do that well last year either Mika had the highest with over 420k but that was due to NANA. Bennie K was the highest non-NANA female single which just sold a bit under 350k and the highest non-NANA solo female was STEP you/is this LOVE? and they went #19 overall for the year. Most female artists tend to get better album results nowadays.

I see. The only source I can get on sales is wikipedia right now, and I guess it's not updated. =)

watch (m)u never to reach 1 mil.... jk! I just wonder how long it'll take for it to do so. I hope BB can reach 250k by next week, but I doubt it. Good luck BB!!! It is quite a good single..

I understand if you meant the first week, but no way the total sales are gonna be that low for 4 HOT WAVE.

I personally think they will be that 'low'..

The first day sales are usually [not all the time i.e HEAVEN] the defining factor in weekly sales.. :] And I don't think Koda'll be able to pull out a 300k first week.. maybe not even 250k o_o no matter what she does..

For (m)u, I saw the album with a discount price, maybe that's why the sales increased. But I don't know when this discount began.

Well, it has been out for what, half a year now XDD~

I'd imagine many are discounting it, thus increasing sales ;D

Well at least we know the 1st week sales will be higher than 140k and total sales will be more than 283k (as mentioned by oricon)
