Apparently, they will be doing "point dance" in their new MV. I have no idea what it means haha. But I'm really looking forward to the MV and even more to their comeback stage!

I must find a way to get the new mini-album, I really want the 40-pages photobook!

Although I'm not a fan of SNSD, I really like Gee. it's just catchy. It's a nice song to start off the year for Korean music. Once their mini-album leaks, I'm gonna give it a listen and see if I'll like SNSD.

I can't stop listening!

SNSD was smart to release when WG stopped promotions and WG was smart to comeback while SNSD was away. Because if they both came back at the same time - I don't think Nobody nor Gee would be as popular as they are.

^ Agreed! It would have been quite a battle! 2008 was definitely WG's year. 2009 is going to be SNSD's year. Power of nine!!

In other news, Taeyeon will be coupled with Jung Hyung Don for the show We Got Married. I wonder how she's going to do radio shows, Gee promotions and We Got Married in the same time. She'll be so tired... And her "husband" is like twice her age or probably more. Apparently, he is the most hated personality on the show. XD Oh, why Taeyeon couldn't be coupled with her radio show partner Kangin?

Also, Minho from SHINee will appear in the "Gee" MV.

Teasers of "Dear Mom" and "Destiny" are out also!

Okay. I just heard the mini-album and I really like it. Gee, Destiny, and Let's Talk About LOVE are my favorites. I think I'll keep my eye on them for a while.

"Gee" is a catchy song! So far, I only have liked "Gee", "Haptic Motion" and "Kissing you".
I don't really like how all of them seem to have a cutesy voice though T_T

I just downloaded the mini-album to try them out, and I LOVELOVELOVE "Way to go"

Gee is pretty catchy but I find it a bit... bizarre? XD it's kinda weird, but I'll probably like it a lot when I get used to it~

I really like their voices! Korean female voices are so... sweet, and flowy like water - don't really know how to describe it? XD I think I'll try their debut album later~

COMEBACK @ MUSIC CORE!

Not extravagant enough for me (I think it's because Music Core don't have big stages and stuff), and the audience looked kinda bored no? They didn't do the greatest live either, but since it's the first "Gee" performance, it's understandable. I can't wait for the other performances! There's one the 11th and one the 16th I think.

By the way, the song played on the clip before the perf. is "Manatsu no Kousen" from Morning Musume!!

Umm, well not really. If they are singing a cute song, they will probably all sound cutesy. (Except Taeyeon, haha) like in "Kissing you", "Gee", "Honey", "Oh-la-la". But in songs like "Into The New World", "Merr-go-round" and all of their ballads, basically a song that is not cute, they don't sound cutesy.

Lower vocals: Taeyeon, Hyoyeon (these 2: strong vocals)
Medium low: Yoona (mostly soft vocals), Yuri (mostly soft vocals, sometimes strong), Tiffany (strong vocals)
Medium high: Sooyoung, Sunny (these 2: mostly strong vocals)
Higher vocals: Jessica (both soft & strong vocals), Seohyun (mostly soft vocals, sometimes strong)

The performance was gold! I wish Kara would have came back like that instead of the "Rock U" and "Pretty Girl" monstrocities. I'll still always love "Into the New World". That ~~has got to be~~...no..it is my favorite Girls' Generation song.

Way to go + Gee @ Inkigayo:

I suggest watching it in HD!

Basically, Inkigayo > Music Core!!
I love love love the dance routine of "Way to go". Overall, both performances were better than the comeback stage @ Music Core. They sang better and the energy was there.

I must say that I absolutely adore their clothes in the "Way to go" performance!

^ Haha. I took me a while to remember their names.

I would always mix Taeyeon, Seohyun and Hyoyeon at first. XD

They all look quite different physically so it shouldn't be hard to tell who's who though. I used to mix Yuri and Yoona all the time though!

Off-topic: Has anyone watched their reality TV show "Factory Girl"?
