This is something other artists would do,

And Rainbow was very artistic,

But now, this shot is... just like any other nude shot any other artist did.

Why is this so different from Ayu being naked in a pool of water or covering her chest with a hand/hair? I don't get why people are getting their panties in such a bunch over something she's done before. Plus her body looks better than the other times she's done it so why complain?

I think a lot of it has to do with maturity. Nudity does not necessarily mean sex. She's naked and covering herself up. So what? She doesn't have half naked guys in leather crawling around her like in a previous shoot (that people loved)... so just what about this is screaming sex? The line from her breast? The fact that she's nude?

If this pic aint sexy to you you must be hardest gay of all.

Ayu's always used nudity very tastefully to represent purity. RAINBOW always reminded me of the womb, and symbolically a "rebirth." LOVEppears, appears, and MW were all done very tastefully, and had no sexual connotation, like, at all. LOVEppears was like bearing her soul symbolically, and MW reminded me of a similar "rebirth" that RAINBOW had.

This is just sexualizing her image to sell. There's no soul behind it, it's just "look at me, I'm a woman, I have boobs! Buy my CDs!"

Let me explain myself, I agree with nudity doesnt have to be sexy, but
what makes this picture sexy is way Ayu is looking to the camera and her finger

Also, Ayu's image is ever changing and she does what she wants. She has been throwing hints of sexuality for a long time now. And in case some of you forgot, sex is very natural. And even so, Ayu has always been classy about it and this time is no different. For those who thinks she looks like a hooker or a porn star, you REALLY don't know what you're talking about at all. She is not "above" being a sexual human being. She's not some so of a-sexual musical angel or a Morning Musume member, she's a mature adult.
