That's exactly what I was expecting... c'mon guys, there was people expecting 1 million. It was obvious it wouldn't be over 500k because (m)u probably didn't sold that much on it's first week and (m)u had a photo album for first press, much more succeful singles...

Personally, I think people are supporting Ayu in other ways. For example, they go to her tours faithfully, and obtain her album through uta-chaku and iTunes. It's probably a general trend that is happening in Japan now. In all, I think the sales would be extremely good, but people might not support as much in terms of purchasing tangible media product goods.
Personally, I'm a bit disappointed by the sales, it certainly deserves much higher sales! But yup, I think it's very good by compared across the entire industry. Remember, low on Ayu standards doesn't mean it's low across the board. |

but i just cant believe that....
Secret is such a great album..all the great songs ( except born to be...) i am still waiting for the Oricon's result i really believe she could reach 500k~600k for the 1st week yeah,,i just tried for the link...it failed...maybe someone removed it??? I don't know if the site is reliable, but anyways i was also expecting 1st week sales around 400k units.
And don't forget that last year we got combined sales for two weeks!!

If it is ture, total sales of Secret may not hit 700k in final.

Well, 386,000 copies isn't a lot... I was expecting at least 400,000 or 500,000 copies for the first week. But since the news has been taken of the site, I don't know if we can still trust this news. And the week isn't over yet. We'll see this tomorrow. But yeah, 386k would be a little dissappointing. =/

Think of the bright side, it's already certified platinum...
 I love the album, and I supported her...that's what counts, in my mind. It is sad to see her lower sales, but she's still on top.
