no problem
I don't think there will be a boost, but who knows, T-ara JUST started their promotions for roly poly in Japan so I think that could mean steady sales.

They've already tied Yayaya's weekly sales in 3 days which is pretty impressive

EDIT: T-ara is down to number 5 >.<

on happier notes they won artist of the year at billboard japan awards!

Congrats to the girls on the win at billboard japan awards.

Their sales for Roly Poly is decent. Hopefully they can sell more with a month of promotion in Japan.

Oh wow thats amazing!!! But maybe a single before their japanese album? I find the gap in between the two is too long, people might forget about them

I think if there was going to be a single released prior to their album, it would have been announced first or along with the album announcement unless they decide to release a digital single during the time gap. While it's still possible that they could release a physical single if they decide, I personally hope that they don't as it would mean that less new material would be available for the album. They've already released 7 Japanese tracks within their singles (including Japanese version of Roly Poly in Copacabana) so I think releasing more than that would be too much. Hopefully they can remain relevant in the Japanese market through promotions until then although I'm unsure of how likely that is.

^ >.< I think it will be hard for them to remain relevant considering the only time they're in Japan is when they are promotion new music, otherwise they are in Korea promoting music there

According to T-ARA's Official Japanese website, they will be releasing their first photobook titled "T-ARA First Photo Album Sparkle" on April 12th!

Here is the translated information from Nathaniel @ Diadem:

Quote:
T-ara will reveal their first photobook "T-ARA First Photo Album Sparkle" on April 12, 2012.

All the shooting was done in Tokyo, Japan at an amusement park with different styles of T-ara including innocent and mature women. The 200-paged photobook is full of T-ara's attractive charm. The title of "Sparkle" literally means "shine" which the photos in the photobook are able to capture T-ara's shining attractiveness.

There's an exclusive event for fans to get random autographed goods like polaroid photos of the members or T-ara's worn outfits in the photobook.

"T-ARA First Photo Album Sparkle"
April 12, 2012 Release
B5 color pages
200 pages
3,200 yen
Shooting: Yamagichi Sin
I'm definetely going to purchase this! Hopefully the release of this book will help keep T-ARA's name out there in Japan for awhile!

yay!!! a japanese album finally !!!
We have to wait like 3 months x_x
And their sales are really good, they are beating k-pop groups like 2NE1, AFTERSCHOOL, RAINBOW and 4MINUTE. They are under KARA and SNSD only ( i guess)

T-ara's going to donate all of the money they receive from the sale of "Roly-Poly" to victims who suffered from the Fukushima nuclear accident!

Quote:
12.03.12] T-ara declares to donate all their "Roly-Poly" royalties to victims from the Fukushima nuclear accident

Girl group T-ara has offered their help to the Fukushima nuclear accident in Japan by donating all their royalties from their Japanese "Roly-Poly" single.

T-ara, who are currently promoting in Japan said, "We debuted in Japan last September and we're happy for receiving a lot of love from 'Roly-Poly'. We want to give back by donating all of our 'Roly-Poly' album royalties back in the full amount to Japan."

The members said, "Although our donations may only be a little help, our wish is that it'll help some of the victims." T-ara's agency will pass the money on their behalf to the fund for the Fukushima nuclear accident in Japan.

T-ara is known for repaying back their love to their fans, where they most recently went to the subway and volunteered in an elder people's shelter. This time, T-ara are also helping out overseas.

Although I originally had no intentions to purchase this single, I may have to purchase the regular edition in the future to help show my support for T-ara's cause!

I just don't understand the need for them to want to change the dynamics of the group so much. They are doing well as is, why risk making major changes that could possibly have a negative affect on the group after the success they've already gained?

^ As they've proven time and time again, they have no idea how to run a group. None whatsoever.
