I love Amuro Namie more than the other choices (though I like them too), but I'm definitely giving it up to BoA on this one. The girl can dance her butt off. She should be leading the poll by a mile.

But when she is actually singing and dancing at the same time and not lip synching her dancing gets much more inhibited. That's why I picked Namie overall.

It IS a dancing poll, but see it is hard to rate someones dancing skills who does not lip synch against someone who does, because obviously the person who does is not going to be inhibited in their movement. In order to truly know, BoA and Namie would have to have a dance off where there is no singing involved. All we do have to compare with is BoA's non-lipsynching Japanese performances against Namie's performances and in that regard, Namie wins.

Lipsynching or not, dancing is dancing. I'm judging strictly on how well each girl can dance, not how well they can kind of dance while singing. That doesn't make any sense.

Yes it does. It's not as simple as "Lipsynching or not, dancing is dancing" because whether you lip synch or not will effect your dancing. You can't accurately judge someones dancing skills who doesn't lip synch against someone who does. The lipsynching person is going to have more range of movement, be faster, etc, while the non-lipsynching person would naturally have to be a bit more inhibited so they can actually, you know, sing. I think I already explained that in the previous post didn't I?
